My College

Our college is best if any student wants to explore the real learning and the real world in terms of technology. No negative remarks but it's true that RV college has tough syllabus to follow. Sometimes even we feel that it's bit more for a Btech student. Except that I wanna give 9.5/10 for our college.

As our college in one of the top colleges in Karnataka. It has got 95% placement in different IT companies and core companies. Our college has collaboration and tags with many big companies. They select some of the students as interns and give them a project to complete within some deadlines. They even give stipend but it varies with companies.

College festival - Every year as annual thing. Kannada Habba - Proudly to show the culture and tradition of our state to all the students who are from different states. We celebrate that on November 1st which is Karnataka formation day. Ethnic Day - Students show their tradition and culture as they are from different States. One of the best day to see India at once. Rangataranga - A platform for different colleges to come and participate to show their acting skills. It is actually a skit competition different colleges from all over the Karnataka participate.

For merit based students it is very less Comes around 80K. If the student is unable to get the merit seat then it is too hard get the seat in our college. Along with the huge amount great influence is needed to get the admission. Payment seats vary according to the branches. As of my knowledge on an average it is almost 15 lakh package for a payment seat.

Actually there is department in out college it is called Placement department they provide scholarship based on the marks scored and financial status of the student. And I don't know much about scholarship other than this provided by the college.

Our college is the best one if we come to extracurricular activities. In our college we have good grounds and feilds for different sports like cricket, football and Hockey. We also have indoor sports room. We have many national players from our college. Our college is recognized as the best one for NCC students as per NCC ( National Cadet Cop). And innovative clubs play very important role for students who want explore the technology. Technical clubs like Rvce solar car team, Ashwa racing, Chimera etc are R V college student teams. They take part in different events held at national level and international level. These teams select students based on their practical knowledge and talents. These teams build cars, Aircrafts, drones and many more things.

No, I am staying in PG (Paying Guest). I know the fee structure, it is around 1 lakh. It has got good infrastructure and food facility. They get month end dinner which is delicious. On every day basis they get Roti, sides, Rice and sambar. Rooms are good and cleaned on daily basis. Common bathrooms for all the students. 24 hours hot water.

Yeah, in our college we arrange talks and discussions with alumni. So many are company CEO's, sportsmen, etc. We are proud that Anil Kumble is one our college's Alumni. They help us in getting connected with their companies and improve college in all aspects.

I got selected through KCET (Karnataka Common Entrance Exam). Then there was a option entry and counselling. Based on our rankings in kcet we apply for colleges. And my rank was around 2000. That's why I got into this college. It is one of the top engineering college in Karnataka. Then we pay the government fee 50K and college development fee around 30K. Then we enter the college as a student.

Some faculty members are highly qualified and they have research background. Especially in Chemical department we have many faculty members who have their contributions to the chemical field. They have even discoveries and papers published in many chemical feilds. It is same in all the other branches. Senior lectures with 30 years of experience in teaching field makes it easy for us to understand things well. They are very supportive towards the innovative clubs and projects, they also involve themselves as coordinators to explore the things.
