LPU and Parul University both offer B.Sc in Forensic Sciences, but LPU seems to have a stronger edge in placement opportunities and career outcomes. LPU boasts an impressive average package ranging from 7 lakhs to 1 crore, with major companies like Microsoft and Amazon actively recruiting students, while Parul offers an average package of 20-25 lakhs. LPU also provides extensive placement training starting from the second semester, ensuring students are well-prepared for interviews. If you're looking for better job prospects and a robust support system, I'd suggest LPU is the way to go. However, if you prefer a more diverse campus life and extracurricular activities, Parul University could be a good fit.

From my research, both LPU and Parul University have their strengths, but LPU B.Sc Forensic Sciences seems to have an edge, especially in terms of faculty and campus life. LPU boasts a highly cooperative faculty with a good student-teacher ratio, which is crucial for personalized learning. Their curriculum is robust, covering essential forensic topics and providing practical exposure. While Parul University has good placements, LPU's average packages are significantly higher, and they claim a 100% placement rate, which is impressive.

Additionally, LPU offers a vibrant campus life with numerous extracurricular activities and events that foster social interaction. If you're looking for a well-rounded experience with strong faculty support and better placement prospects, I'd recommend LPU B.Sc Forensic Sciences. However, if you prefer a more intimate campus experience and specific programs at Parul, that could also be a good fit.

LPU B.Sc Forensic Sciences offers a solid curriculum with good faculty support and a promising 100% placement claim, with average packages ranging from 7 lakhs to 1 crore, making it a potentially lucrative option. In contrast, Parul University also provides a well-structured program but mentions an average package of 20-25 lakhs, which is lower than LPU’s claim. Both colleges offer scholarships, but LPU’s Lpunest can provide up to 50% off tuition fees, making it a more financially attractive choice overall. If you’re looking for better ROI and a vibrant campus life, LPU seems to be the smarter financial choice, while Parul University might suit those prioritizing a slightly lower fee structure and a different campus experience.

B.Sc. in Forensic Science is an excellent choice and is part of the high placement programs at LPU! The curriculum covers both theoretical and practical aspects of criminalistics, equipping students with skills in areas like forensic molecular biology, forensic chemistry, and toxicology.

Eligibility Criteria (Qualifying Exam):

  • Pass with 60% aggregate marks in 10+2 (with English, Physics, Chemistry, and Maths or Biology or Biotechnology) or equivalent.
  • If a candidate has not studied English as a subject, the English requirement may be waived if the qualifying exam was completed in English medium. (5% relaxation for candidates from North-East states and Sikkim/ Defence Personnel and their Dependents/ Wards of Kashmiri Migrants.)

Keep in mind that eligibility criteria can change over time. It's wise to check the LPU website for the most current details regarding fees and eligibility.
