The placements are excellent, and you'll have numerous opportunities to choose from. However, it's essential to maintain a strong academic record to secure a position in the best companies that visit the university for recruitment. The placement rate for the MBA program at LPU is around 95% and above. Almost all recent batches have been placed in reputable companies. The average package offered for MBA students is 5.5 LPA, with leading companies like Practo, Think and Learn, Colgate, ICICI Prudential, Tech Mahindra, Axis Bank, WNS, and CISCO hiring a significant number of students from this department, with the highest package reaching 17 lakhs.

Every year, over 550 companies visit for campus recruitment and related activities. For the batch graduating in 2019, more than 650 placement and internship drives have already been conducted by February 2019, with over 90% of these being MNCs.

Some of the companies that have visited the LPU campus for recruitment include Colgate Palmolive, Hindustan Unilever, Godrej Consumer, SAP Labs, Asian Paints, Bajaj Allianz, Federal Bank, Moody's Analytics, Blue Star, and many more.

The Master of Business Administration (MBA) is a highly regarded postgraduate qualification that covers essential business practices and is sought after by leading employers.

Having completed an MBA from LPU with dual specialization, I believe students should consider the MBA (Hons.) program at LPU. Those pursuing the MBA (Hons.) program tend to receive priority from corporate employers regarding placements and future career opportunities.

Here are some key highlights of the MBA (Hons.) program based on recent announcements from LPU:

  • The course curriculum is tailored to meet current industry skill requirements.
  • One course each trimester is taught online by foreign faculty or industry experts.
  • An International Immersion option is available for 5-7 days after the first year in Singapore or Dubai.
  • Utilization of Harvard Business Publishing with 06 simulations.
  • Seed Money for:
    • Entrepreneurship
    • Live projects like stock trading
    • Market surveys
    • Research projects
    • Publications
    • Copyrights
    • Patents
    • Travel grants
  • Two global standard industry live projects per student.
  • Each student is assigned an industry mentor for career guidance.

These features make the MBA (Hons.) program a compelling choice for aspiring professionals!

Doing an MBA in Financial Markets from LPU is definitely worth it! I completed my BBA and decided to continue here because I wanted a strong foundation in finance. The professors are highly qualified and dedicated to our growth. The campus is vibrant, with a mix of Indian and foreign students, which makes the learning experience richer.

The placement record is impressive; many of my classmates got job offers even before finishing their degrees. While the fees can be on the higher side, the quality of education and the opportunities make it worthwhile.
