The B.Sc (Agriculture) program follows a semester pattern.

  • There are a total of 8 semesters over 4 years of study.
  • Expect around 10 subjects per semester until the 6th semester.

In the 7th semester, students participate in the RAWE (Rural Agricultural Work Experience) Program, which includes:

  • Performing demonstrations of agricultural technologies and managing field data for assigned contact/host farmers.
  • Studying various indigenous cultivation methods.
  • Organizing and conducting events related to veterinary practices, improved agronomical practices, entomological remedies, and social camps focused on women's health, seed collection, etc.
  • Engaging in social events in villages to raise awareness about agricultural innovations, new tools and equipment, and social issues like superstitions and animal husbandry campaigns.

In the 8th semester, students undergo the AEL (Agricultural Experiential Learning) Program, where they are assigned to one of the departments offered by the college. For example, the college accommodates:

  • Pathology Major with Entomology, Agriculture Economics, and Agriculture Extension as Minor subjects.

There are 8 semesters in the 4-year B.Sc. Agriculture course. In Maharashtra, the agriculture board's education system includes 6 semesters of theoretical study, followed by 2 semesters that are entirely practical. These practical semesters are known as the RAWE (Rural Agriculture Work Experience) program. It allows students to apply all their theoretical knowledge in real-world situations. This hands-on experience is one of the reasons students love this course!
