If you're aiming for the MCA at LPU, I'd suggest aiming for a minimum of 60% in your BCA. It’s not just about the marks, though; it’s also about the learning environment. The professors are super supportive, and many have PhDs, which really enhances our understanding. Plus, you’ll be eligible for campus placements from the 3rd semester, so it’s worth pushing hard in your academics!

The more you code in the lab, the more employable you become! This program is designed with that principle in mind. Students are expected to code over 2000 lines during their industry internship projects.

  • 80% (BCA or BSc Computer Science or BSc IT or any Graduation with computer science as a course in all three years of graduation.)
  • Or 55% (BCA or BSc Computer Science or BSc IT or any Graduation with computer science as a course in all three years of graduation.) + LPUNEST

To get into the MCA program at LPU, you should ideally have a good score in your BCA or related degree. The application process is pretty straightforward; just fill out the form on the college website. I’ve seen many students securing decent marks around 50-60% to be eligible. Trust me, the faculty here is amazing, and they have a PhD in MCA and law, which really helps with our studies.

For admission to the MCA course at LPU, it's crucial to have a solid academic background, especially if you’re coming from a BCA. While there isn't a fixed cutoff, I believe a score of 55% or above should give you a good chance. The campus is great, with excellent placements starting from the 3rd semester, and I really think getting in will open up many opportunities for you.
