In my BCA course at LPU, we get a CPI instead of an aggregate score. This is beneficial as it reflects our performance over the semesters more accurately. I’ve found that the faculty is very professional and they ensure that we get our term results on time, which helps us keep track of our progress. It gives us a good chance to identify areas we need to work on before our internships start in the 5th semester.
At LPU, we receive a CPI (Cumulative Performance Index) for our BCA course. It’s calculated based on our performance in various subjects each semester. I find it more helpful than an aggregate score because it gives a clearer picture of how I’m doing in each subject. The faculty here is really supportive, and they make sure we understand our scores well. Overall, I think LPU's grading system helps motivate us to improve.
So, at LPU, for the BCA program, we get a CPI at the end rather than just an aggregate. This was something I liked because it breaks down our performance across subjects. Since I’m only in my 4th semester, I’m still figuring things out, but I appreciate how the term exams are scheduled and communicated. It makes planning easier. Overall, I feel like the CPI system keeps us focused on continuous improvement!
