So, the BCA program at LPU is structured over 6 semesters. I just finished my 4th semester, and I’m eager to dive into my internship next semester. The placement process kicks off in the 6th semester, which I’m looking forward to as I aim for a good job after graduation in 2026. The course has been great for building my programming skills, and I think the structured semesters really help in keeping us on track.

BCA is a three-year program divided into six semesters. LPU offers BCA in two specializations along with a BCA (Hons) course. Additionally, the university provides BCA in online and distance education modes. After completing Class 12, candidates can apply for LPU BCA courses. LPU BCA Eligibility Criteria:

• 1. BCA (Hons) (Cyber Security) in tie-up with CompTIA: Class 12 with 60% aggregate with English or equivalent.
• 2. BCA (Big Data Analytics) in tie-up with IBM: Class 12 with 60% aggregate with English or equivalent.
• 3. BCA: Class 12 with 50% aggregate with English or equivalent.

Note: 5% relaxation for candidates from North East states and Sikkim/ Defence Personnel and their Dependents/Wards of Kashmiri Migrants.
