Hi, The fee at Lovely Professional University varies from program to program. Essentially, the fee structure is based on the calibre of the student. It depends on the student's scores and achievements in their previous academic record as well as their performance in LPUNEST. Since the fee differs for every course, you can check the exact tuition fee for the B.Com (Hons.) program on the LPU website at http://www.lpu.in.

At LPU, scholarships are awarded to candidates based on their performance in the eligibility qualification:

  • LPUNEST
  • Marks based on the previous two qualifying exams
  • Performance in other National Level Entrance tests
  • Performance in Sports, Cultural and Co-curricular Activities, Social Service, R&D, and Bravery Activities
  • Special Scholarship for Toppers of Education Board

In addition to these, there are several financial aids available:

  • Financial Aid for Defense/CAPF and their dependents
  • Financial Aid for Orphan Candidates
  • Financial Aid for Persons with certain disabilities
  • Minorities
  • Transgender
  • Non-Traditional students
  • Need-Based Financial Aid

The total cost for the B.Com (Hons.) program at LPU is around Rs.4,20,000. This covers all the necessary fees and charges for the complete course duration. I chose this course because I wanted to pursue CA alongside my studies, and the curriculum aligns well with that. Just a heads up, scholarships are available based on your Class 12 marks, but they only apply for the first year.

LPU’s fee structure depends on the percentage of a student. The fee varies for each student, ranging from 57,000 to 2,37,000 for the 3-year course. It is determined by either the percentage in the last qualified exam (12th grade for UG courses) or performance in LPU-NEST (entrance exam).

Here’s the breakdown:

  • 1. If you have 98% or above aggregate marks in 12th class or 90% marks in LPU-NEST, the fee would be around 9,500 per semester. This means the total cost for the 3-year course would be approximately 57,000 Rs.
  • 2. If you have 90% to 97.99% aggregate marks in 12th or are among the top 10% of students in LPU-NEST, the fee would be 19,500 per semester. This totals around 1,17,000 Rs for the 3-year course.
  • 3. If you have 80% to 89.99% aggregate marks in 12th or fall within the next 10% (11% - 20%) of students in LPU-NEST, the fee would be about 24,500 per semester. This results in a total of around 1,47,000 Rs for the 3-year course.
  • 4. If you have 70% to 79.99% aggregate marks in 12th or are in the next 15% (21% to 35%) of students in LPU-NEST, the fee would be around 29,500 per semester. This means the total cost would be approximately 1,77,000 Rs for the 3-year course.
  • 5. If you have less than 70% in 12th or are not among the top 35% of students in LPU-NEST, the fee structure will be different.

For B.Com (Hons.) at LPU, the total cost is roughly Rs.25,000, which is pretty affordable, especially if you fall under a caste category that qualifies for lower fees. The teaching methods here are great, and the faculty is really supportive. Overall, I’ve had a good experience in this academic year, and I think the investment is worth it.

The B.Com (Hons.) program at LPU costs about Rs.4,20,000 in total for the course. This includes all tuition and other associated fees. I found that the curriculum helps if you're aiming for a CA, as it covers a lot of relevant topics. Employment opportunities for B.Com graduates might not be as abundant as for other streams, but the campus life and events like "YOUTH VIBE" make it an enjoyable experience.
