I can definitely say that doing BHMCT from LPU is worth it! I was drawn to the course because of my passion for hotel management, and the university has amazing facilities. The professors are approachable and use excellent teaching methods. The fees are around ?90,000 per semester, but some students manage to get scholarships that reduce it significantly. Plus, during the last year, there are ample placement opportunities with companies like Radisson. I’m really enjoying my time here, making new friends, and participating in various extracurricular activities.
I don’t have much information about Chandigarh University, but I can share my thoughts on LPU, or Lovely Professional University. LPU is definitely a solid choice for placements, especially for hotel management or any other course. Numerous companies visit the campus for placement drives. If you check the placement statistics from previous years, you'll see that over 10,000 offers have been made by bulk recruiters.
Specifically for the hotel management course, several global hotels and tourism brands have recruited LPU students recently. Companies like P&O Cruise Lines, The Leela Palace, Oberoi Hotels, and many others have hired graduates from LPU. Additionally, students have the opportunity to intern at five-star hotels during their course, which is a significant advantage.
The overall academic environment at LPU is positive, with approachable teachers. If you enroll in the hotel management course, make sure to put in the effort, and any reputable company will be eager to hire you. So, don’t stress about placements—focus on gaining as much knowledge as you can during your time at LPU!
I'm currently pursuing BHMCT at LPU, and honestly, it's been a great experience so far. The curriculum aligns perfectly with my dream of working in hotel management, and the faculty here is really supportive. They have significant teaching experience, which makes learning a lot easier.
As for placements, my batch had a 100% placement record. Companies like Hyatt and Marriott visited for recruitment, and I feel confident about my future because of that. The campus life is vibrant too, with festivals celebrated and a good library to study in.
