What is the total cost for B.Tech Software Engineering in DTU??

For students joining in the session 2016–2017, the total fees have increased to around 6 lakh for four years of study. Here's the breakdown:

• First year: approximately 1.25 lakh rupees.
• Second year: close to 1.38 lakh.
• Third year: about 1.5 lakh.
• Fourth year: 1.65 lakh.

I am a student of mechanical engineering at DTU, batch 2017–2021.

Here are the fees for B.Tech Software Engineering:

So, if you get admission in 2018, your fees will most likely be 1,50,000 INR.

It's important to note that the fees for every first year and fourth year of the same batch are the same at DTU.

If anyone is looking for a student loan, the college has a good arrangement for that. There is a State Bank branch on campus that provides student loans quite easily!

If you're looking to join the B.Tech Software Engineering program at DTU, be prepared to shell out about 2.19 lakhs for your first year. The fee does go up a little each subsequent year, so expect it to be around 2.23 lakhs in the second year. One thing to note is that all fees are paid at once at the start of the year. Currently, the cost is around 1.2 Lakhs per year, which includes Tuition Fees, Infrastructure Development Cost, Maintenance Cost, and Alumni Association Cost. Back in 2013, the college fees were Rs. 75,000 for the first year, and then it reduced to about Rs. 69,000 per year. The total came to approximately 2.69 Lakhs for the 4-year B.Tech in DTU.

Hostel fees are Rs. 18,000 per year, plus a one-time Security Deposit of Rs. 11,000, and an advance mess bill of Rs. 10,000 for 6 months for each academic year.
