The faculty is supportive, and the updated curriculum aligns well with industry requirements. Internship opportunities are fantastic, with many companies visiting our campus. The average stipend for interns is around 30k, and I know someone who landed an Adobe internship worth 1 lakh! When it comes to placements, the scenario is bright especially for tech branches; last year, the highest package was 1.25 crore. Overall, I’m having a great time here, both academically and socially!

Doing a B.Tech in Mathematics and Computing from DTU is definitely worth it! I chose this course because I believe it has huge potential for the future. The curriculum was updated this year, and it's quite relevant to the tech industry. The faculty-to-student ratio is good at 20:1, which means we get personalized attention. For placements, students become eligible from the 4th year, and big companies like Google and Microsoft come for recruitment. The highest package last year was an incredible 1.25 crore! Plus, internships are great, with companies offering stipends around 30k. Overall, my experience has been positive!
The program combines mathematics with computer science and financial engineering. The prospects of this course span the core engineering industry, software industry, analytics, and the financial sector. Students gain expertise in Operations Research, Financial Engineering, Scientific Computing, Graph Theory, and Mathematical Modelling and Simulation.
The program is heavily focused on mathematics, providing a solid foundation for pursuing higher studies in either mathematics or computer science. While it excels from a mathematics perspective, students must take initiative in their learning.
From a computer science standpoint, the program includes only essential subjects. Notably, a major topic like computer networks was absent in the old syllabus. However, there have been syllabus updates, so it's advisable to check the brochure for the latest information. Additionally, senior faculty will not be appointed for computer science subjects; only those pursuing MTech and PhD will be involved.
Self-study is crucial. Lab assignments are of COE level difficulty. The computer science syllabus is comparatively lighter and easier than that of COE.
For on-campus placements, the Training and Placement cell prioritizes COE students. When a significant number of students secure placements, the opportunities for others increase.

The campus life is vibrant, with active societies and fests, so you won't miss out on the college experience.
