So, for B.Tech Industrial & Production Engineering at DTU, the total fees come to about ?9,79,100. I won't lie, it feels a bit high, especially since it's a government college. But honestly, the campus life, faculty, and placement opportunities make it a valuable investment for our future!

Bro, suno yeh!

  • Agar aapki family income 4 lakh se kam hai, toh aapko fee concession mil sakta hai, lekin yeh end mein milega.
  • Jab aap DTU mein admission lete ho, toh counselling ke dauran aapko 95,000 ka acceptance fee dena hota hai.
  • College shuru hone par notice aata hai ki aapko 1,42,000 ka fee dena hai. Aap 2nd ya 3rd din tak extend kar sakte ho application se, par yeh sirf 30 din ke liye hota hai.
  • Aapko fee deni padegi, chahe aap kis caste se ho. Uske baad aap scholarship ke liye apply kar sakte ho, agar mil gaya toh thoda relief ho sakta hai, lekin scholarship par poora depend mat karo, kyunki yeh full amount nahi de sakta.
  • Admission le lo aur loan ke liye apply karo orientation ya college shuru hone se pehle, yeh aapke liye beneficial hoga.

Main bhi DTU ka CSE student hoon (saari information 2024 fees ke according hai, agle saal naye students ke liye fees badh sakti hai).

Thanks kar do bhai! Aur kuch puchna ho toh welcome hai!

The fee structure is uniform for all categories of students at DTU / NSUT, with no concessions based on caste. However, there are specific fee reimbursement schemes from the Delhi government based on economic criteria:

1. Merit-cum-Means Linked Financial Assistance Scheme for Higher Education:

  • a) Families enrolled in the National Food Security Scheme receive 100% assistance.
  • b) Families with a yearly income less than 2.5 lakh receive 50% assistance.
  • c) Families with an income between 2.5 - 6 lakh annually receive 25% assistance.

2. Higher Education and Skill Development Guarantee Scheme:

  • The government acts as a guarantor for any loan taken by students up to 10 lakh.

You must apply for these schemes separately; they are not automatically processed by the college.

Regarding NIT Delhi and other NITs, they follow a different fee structure under the central government. Here, SC/ST/PH students receive a 100% remission on tuition fees but are required to pay hostel and mess charges.

Below are the fee details for SC/ST students from the last year, 2022.

Hope this helps! Best wishes.
