The B.Tech in Electrical Engineering at DTU is quite intense but rewarding. I got into this branch due to my JEE rank, and while it wasn’t my first choice, I’ve grown to appreciate the curriculum. The faculty is really impressive, with a great student-to-teacher ratio, and they hold advanced degrees. Exams are tough, happening every two months, so you need to stay on your toes. For placements in 2025/26, I’ve heard that many big names like Google and Microsoft recruit here, and last year, 96% of students got placed, with the highest package being a whopping 1.83 crores. It’s motivating to see such success!

So, I’m studying B.Tech Electrical Engineering at DTU, and honestly, it’s been a journey. I didn’t choose this branch, but I’m making the most of it. The exams are challenging, with mid and end-semester tests every three months. In terms of placements, I’m looking ahead to 2025/26. I’ve heard that students in the 7th semester get a lot of opportunities, and last year, companies like Facebook and Google hired many graduates. The placement rate was around 80%, so I’m hopeful about landing a good job after I graduate!

I’m currently in my first year of B.Tech Electrical Engineering at DTU, and I can already see a bright future ahead. The faculty is highly qualified, so we get a solid understanding of the subjects. Although I’m not fully aware of the internship scene, I know seniors are getting good opportunities in tech and non-tech roles. As for placements in 2025/26, I’ve heard from upperclassmen that companies like Apple and Google come here, with around 80% placement last year. They also have some amazing packages, so I’m excited about what’s to come!
