DTU’s Computer Science and Engineering branch is definitely worth considering. The curriculum is pretty relevant to current tech trends, and we get to learn from experienced professors. I've already secured an internship at Twitter, which was an amazing experience! For placements in 2026, the statistics look promising. Companies like Adobe and Microsoft visit, and the average salary is about 15 LPA. I think with the skills we gain here, it’s a great launchpad for our careers!

Honestly, predicting placements at IITs is tough. It really depends on you.

So, NSIT or DTU won't guarantee your placements or job offers. But one thing that truly defines you is your character and attitude towards your career.

The B.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering at DTU is pretty solid! The curriculum is well-structured, focusing on both coding and theoretical concepts. The faculty here is quite experienced, which really helps in understanding the subjects better. The placement scene is impressive too; in 2026, it seems like almost everyone who sits for placements gets an offer. Big companies like Microsoft and Adobe come to campus, and the highest package offered was around 90 LPA! I’m really looking forward to my internship opportunities starting from the 6th semester.

Hello Aspirant,

DTU is generally considered better than NSUT regarding placements, infrastructure, campus life, and brand value.

Here are some additional insights from reviews and statistics:

  • Core Companies: NSUT may be a better option for automobile and industrial branches due to a higher number of core companies per student.
  • Top Companies: NSUT attracts top companies like Microsoft, Google, Amazon, Morgan Stanley, Tower Research, Adobe, and Uber for placements.
  • 2023 Placements: In 2023, DTU's highest package was 35.9 LPA, with an average package of 21.31 LPA. In 2022, NSUT successfully placed 977 out of 1,092 BTech and MTech students.

Hope this helps!

When it comes to branches like COE, IT, and ECE, NSIT has a stronger reputation historically.

But remember, it ultimately depends on what you make of your four years in college, no matter which institution you choose.

So, focus on developing your skill set regardless of the college you attend.

There are hundreds of candidates vying for that one job you want; it's all about competition and the survival of the fittest.

So, invest in yourself!

Both DTU and NSIT offer good exposure to companies during placement season.

Good luck!
