What is the total approx fees of DTU for B.Tech (Computer Science and Engineering)??

If you're looking at DTU for Computer Science and Engineering, you should expect to pay approximately 2,32,000 INR in fees for the 2025 batch. I didn't get any scholarships since they mostly go to students from economically weaker sections. But honestly, with the internship and placement opportunities here, the fees seem justified.

For the B.Tech Computer Science and Engineering program at DTU, the total fees are around 2,32,000 INR for my year, which is 2025. I've noticed that the fees have been going up each year, so be prepared for that. I didn't apply for scholarships, but I know they mainly support students from weaker economic backgrounds. Overall, it’s a solid investment considering the placements!

For students joining from the session 2016–2017, the fees have been raised to approximately 6 lakh for the entire four-year program. Here's the breakdown:

• First year: around 1.25 lakh rupees.
• Second year: close to 1.38 lakh.
• Third year: about 1.5 lakh.
• Fourth year: 1.65 lakh.

At DTU, the fee structure is uniform across all departments.

Note: While the fees may seem high, the return on investment is quite good!

Currently, the fees are around 1.2 Lakhs per year, which includes Tuition Fees, Infrastructure Development Cost, Maintenance Cost, Alumni Association Cost, and more.

Back in 2013, the fees for the first year were Rs. 75,000, which later reduced to approximately Rs. 69,000 per year. The total came to about 2.69 Lakhs for the entire 4-year B.Tech program at DTU.

Hostel fees are Rs. 18,000 per year, plus a one-time Security Deposit of Rs. 11,000, and an advance mess bill of Rs. 10,000 for 6 months every academic year.
