At DTU, for B.Tech in Civil Engineering, the fees start at about 2,19,000 for the first year. It's a bit of a hike every year, with an increase of 10,000. But honestly, with the good placements and internship options available, it feels worth it!

The total fees for B.Tech Civil Engineering at DTU is around 2,19,000 for the first year. It increases by 10,000 each subsequent year, so by the second year, it will be 2,29,000. I think it's reasonable considering the resources and faculty support we get.

If you're considering B.Tech in Civil Engineering at DTU, be prepared to pay approximately 2,19,000 in your first year. The fees go up by 10,000 every year, which isn't too bad given the quality of education and internship opportunities we have here.

The fee structure at DTU / NSUT is uniform for all categories of students, with no concessions based on caste. However, there are some fee reimbursement schemes from the Delhi government based on economic criteria:

1. Merit-cum-Means linked financial assistance scheme for higher education:

  • a) Families enrolled in the National Food Security Scheme receive 100% assistance.
  • b) Families with a yearly income less than 2.5 lakh get 50% assistance.
  • c) Families with an income between 2.5 - 6 lakh annually receive 25% assistance.

2. Higher Education and Skill Development Guarantee Scheme: The government acts as a guarantor for any loan taken by students up to 10 lakh.

You must apply for these schemes separately; they are not automatically processed by the college.

Regarding NIT Delhi and other NITs, they fall under the central government and have a different fee structure. SC/ST/PH students receive a 100% remission on tuition fees, but they are still responsible for hostel fees and mess charges.

Here are the fee details for SC/ST students from last year, 2022.

Hope this helps! Best wishes.

Bhai, suno ye baat!

  • Agar aapki family income 4 lakh se kam hai, toh aapko fee concession mil sakta hai, lekin vo end mein milega.
  • Jab aap DTU mein admission lete ho, toh counselling ke dauran aapko 95,000 ka acceptance fee dena hota hai.
  • College shuru hone par aapko 1,42,000 ka fee dene ka notice milega. Aapko 2-3 din ke andar ya 30 din ke liye application ke through date extend karne ka option hai.
  • Aapko fee dena padega, chahe aap kis caste se ho.
  • Scholarship ke liye apply kar sakte ho, agar mil gaya toh thoda relief ho sakta hai, lekin scholarship par poora depend mat raho kyunki ye kabhi bhi full amount nahi de sakta.
  • Admission lene ke baad, orientation ya college shuru hone se pehle loan ke liye apply karna beneficial hoga.

Main bhi DTU ka CSE student hoon (ye saari information 2024 fees ke according hai, agle saal naye students ke liye fees badh sakti hai).

Agar aur kuch puchna ho toh welcome hai!
