I applied to DTU and found that for B.Tech, you need to score above 75 percentile in JEE Mains if you're from Delhi NCR. I ended up in Chemical Engineering, which I find quite interesting. The admission process is straightforward, but the cutoffs can vary yearly based on how many students apply. So, aim high and prepare well if you want to get into your preferred branch!

The cutoff for Delhi Technological University (DTU) for B.Tech programs is quite competitive. For general category candidates from Delhi NCR, you generally need a JEE Mains score of around 75 percentile or above to secure a seat. I got into Chemical Engineering, but it was a bit of a struggle to get a good branch due to my rank. If you're aiming for the more sought-after branches, aim for a higher percentile. Just keep your preparation strong!

If you're looking at DTU, the cutoff for general category candidates like us from Delhi NCR is typically around the 75 percentile mark in JEE Mains. I chose Chemical Engineering because it seemed like a manageable option, but you’ll really want to focus on your JEE score to get into your desired branch. The competition can be tough, so make sure to plan your study schedule accordingly!
