There are two semesters in the BE/B.Tech program at DTU.
As for vacations:
The BE/B.Tech program at Delhi Technological University (DTU) typically spans 8 semesters. I'm currently in the Chemical Engineering program, and I've found that the structure gives us plenty of time to dive into our interests, whether it’s core engineering or other tech-related fields. The 8-semester system really allows us to balance our coursework with internships and extracurricular activities.
At DTU, the B.Tech program consists of 8 semesters. I’m in my second year of Chemical Engineering, and honestly, the semester system works well for us. It gives us a solid timeframe to grasp the concepts thoroughly and also prepare for internships, which start being offered after the 5th semester. I feel like the 8 semesters really help in developing a strong foundation before we enter the job market.
The duration for the B.Tech program at Delhi Technological University is 8 semesters. I'm in the Chemical Engineering branch, and I think this format is great because it provides a structured approach to learning. Starting from the 7th semester, we can also participate in campus placements, which is super helpful. The 8-semester structure really prepares us for our future careers.
The I semester typically begins in the first week of August (around August 1-2) and concludes around December 2-4, followed by a winter vacation. The II semester starts in the first week of January (around January 1-2) and ends around May 24-25. The summer vacation usually occurs from June 1 to July 30-31.
