DTU does offer an AI-based learning environment, particularly in courses related to economics and data analysis. The faculty comprises experienced professors, many of whom are doing research in AI fields. The infrastructure is also impressive, with well-equipped classrooms that facilitate modern teaching methods.

While I focus on my studies here, I can see that the college is actively trying to incorporate AI into our learning, which is essential for our future careers.

CSAI is a new branch of IGDTUW, which is why you might not find many relevant questions about it yet. Here’s my take based on personal experience and insights from students across various colleges:

  • Go for DTU if you can! It makes life almost equivalent to that of an IITIAN.
  • CSAI is likely to be a better branch than CSE at IGDTUW, but don't overlook campus life. IT is a respected branch too.
  • Once you get into college, it’s all about your efforts. You could snag a placement offer that a COE student at DTU might get, or even an IT student at IGDTUW could outshine you, as both branches focus on coding.
  • NSUT has a good reputation, but campus life isn’t as enjoyable as at DTU due to its strictness.

Hope this helps a bit!

Yes, DTU offers an AI-based learning environment, especially in the East Campus where we have around 2000 students. The faculty includes both permanent and guest professors, many of whom hold doctorates and have over 15 years of experience. This mix is beneficial for courses like economics, which I'm studying. The classrooms are equipped with modern facilities, including projectors, which enhances the learning experience. Overall, I feel that the college is keeping up with the growing importance of AI in education.

Absolutely! At DTU, especially in the East Campus, we have a decent focus on AI and tech integration in our courses. The faculty includes experienced guest lecturers from institutions like JNU, which is great for learning advanced concepts. With the growing relevance of AI in various fields, I believe the college is doing a good job of preparing us for future roles, especially in areas like data analytics. It’s an exciting time to be here as we dive into these technologies throughout our curriculum.

Choose IT at NSUT/DTU! Agar AI me interest hai to tum is course se bhi seekh sakte ho. You don’t need a degree to prove your AI knowledge.

DTU/NSUT is far better than IGDTUW in terms of placement and college life. But in this case, I suggest you choose DTU IT because you will have plenty of time to learn whatever you want. Matlab, DTU me thoda chill environment hai compared to NSUT.

Also, DTU offers Deep Learning/ML/AI subjects as optional, so it depends on students' interest to choose it or not. Don’t know about the optional courses at NSUT. NSUT also offers CSAI course, so they may have different optional courses for other branches to differentiate between AI and Non-AI branches.
