Getting to DTU is pretty easy, especially if you're in Delhi. I usually take the metro to Vishwavidyalaya station and then hop on an auto. It’s a quick ride, and you’ll see a lot of students around, so it feels safe. I joined DTU for my BBA, and I love the atmosphere here, especially during the Engifest in February! It’s one of the biggest fests in Delhi, and reaching there is half the fun!

To reach DTU, I recommend taking the metro to Vishwavidyalaya station if you're in Delhi. From there, you can take an auto or rickshaw that will drop you right at the East Campus. I’m currently in my second year of Economics, and honestly, the campus is buzzing with around 2000 students. Plus, the professors are really experienced, which makes the commute worth it!

This question is 7 years old, and most people probably know the answer by now.

DTU (Delhi Technical University) is located in Daulatpur Village, along the road from Samaypur Badli to Bawana.

Here’s how to reach DTU:

  • You can easily find shared taxis or similar vehicles going from Rithala to DTU.
  • The distance from Rithala Metro Station to DTU is less than 6 KMs. Consider cycling for your daily commute.
  • Alternatively, you might want to go to Samaypur Badli Metro Station instead of Rithala. It’s closer to DTU and conveniently located.

It’s surprising to see the answer provided by ‘the Assistant’, an AI tool used by Quora.

Just a heads-up: not all information given by AI is correct or reliable.

The inaccurate answer from ‘the Assistant’ suggests going back from Rithala to Kashmere Gate and then changing to the Blue Line.

Horror of horrors! Then it asks you to get off the Blue Line at Inderlok.

Have you ever seen the Blue Line at Inderlok?

Inderlok actually comes first when traveling on the Red Line from Rithala to Kashmere Gate.

What a mess!

Take the exit from gate no. 3. Then, catch a bus, gramin seva, or e-rickshaw to DTU. It’s just a 5-minute ride from Rithala!
