What is the fees structure of DTU for BA??

So, I’m currently in the BA program at DTU, and I can share that the fee structure is around 3 lakhs for the entire course. It’s split into about 90,000 for each of the first two years and then 1 lakh for the last year. While this is higher than what you'd find in other government colleges in Delhi, it’s still worth it for the quality of faculty and resources we get. Also, just be careful about backlogs because they charge 5,500 for one subject, which feels a bit excessive.

If you're considering the BA course at DTU, be prepared for a fee structure that totals around 3 lakh for three years. The first two years are around 90,000 each, while the last year bumps up to about 1 lakh. It’s on the pricier side compared to other Delhi colleges like DU, where fees are significantly lower. Just so you know, if you happen to have a backlog, the fee for that is 5,500, which is quite high compared to other places. Overall, I feel the investment is worth it for the education and campus life we get here.

For the batch joining from the session 2016–2017, the fees have increased to about 6 lakh for four years of study.

• First year: around 1.25 lakh rupees.
• Second year: close to 1.38 lakh.
• Third year: about 1.5 lakh.
• Fourth year: 1.65 lakh.

For DTU, the fee structure is the same across all departments.

Note: Although the fees are significant, the return on investment is quite good!

Currently, the fees are around 1.2 Lakhs per year, which includes Tuition Fees, Infrastructure Development Cost, Maintenance Cost, and Alumni Association Cost (you get the idea)…

Back in 2013, the fees were Rs. 75,000 for the first year, and then it dropped to about Rs. 69,000 per year. The total for a 4-year B.Tech at DTU came to 2.69 Lakhs.

Hostel fees are Rs. 18,000 per year, plus a one-time Security Deposit of Rs. 11,000, and an advance mess bill of Rs. 10,000 for 6 months each academic year.
