Which should I select for a BTech - Thapar university or LPU?

I would advise choosing LPU because of the following reasons:

It is a reputed university with good faculty. Majority of the faculty members are from top colleges like IITs and IIMs.
Despite being a private university, LPU offers scholarships for a number of courses.
Students get placed in the 3rd year itself and go for the on-the-job training and industry experiences.
Each year, over 550 recruiters come to the LPU campus for placements.

A B.Tech degree from Thapar University holds a more significant value than LPU as it has a rich legacy owing to its early establishment while LPU is a relatively new university.

Thapar University has a highly skilled and experienced faculty.
Thapar University offers an environment that enhances the academic experience, research work, and creative freedom.
The university offers a plethora of programs to cater to individual interests, personal growth, and development.
Thapar University also enjoys a considerable location advantage. It's in close proximity to the main market and has great public transport.
It focuses on the all around development of the students and thus promotes extracurricular activities like dramatics, dancing, singing, cricket, football, and so on
The university has zero ragging tolerance and the seniors are extremely friendly.
The university has an extensive alumni pool because it's one of the oldest universities in India.

I believe that choosing Thapar University over LPU will be a wise decision indeed.
