Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Kakinada, on behalf of APSCHE, has released the AP EAMCET 2025 Result on 8 June 2025 on the official website – cets.apsche.ap.gov.in. for Agriculture & Pharmacy streams. The candidates can access their AP EAMCET scorecard 2025 by entering their registration number, hall ticket number, and date of birth.
- As per the previous years’ analysis, the AP EAMCET cutoff 2025 is expected to have a minimum of 25% marks, which is 40 marks out of a total of 160 for the general and OBC candidates, while SC/ST candidates will have no qualifying marks.
- The Admission cutoff will vary across the different categories and colleges, with the top colleges requiring a score of 120-130+ for the ranks under 5,000. The final ranks of the AP EAMCET will be calculated by using the 75% EAMCET + 25% Class 12 marks formula. Cut-offs also vary across 322 colleges, with reserved categories having lower cutoffs around 34–35 marks. The AP EAMCET official round-wise cutoff will be released during counselling.

What is the difference between EAPCET and EAMCET?
EAMCET was rebranded as EAPCET in 2021 since medical admissions (MBBS/BDS) were transferred to NEET, thus "Medical" was replaced by "Pharmacy."
Andhra Pradesh and Telangana both conduct EAPCET separately for their states.
The exam pattern, syllabus, and eligibility are all the same except for medical course admissions, which are excluded now.
Feature | EAMCET (Old Name) | EAPCET (Current Name) |
---|---|---|
Name Change Year | Used until 2020 | Renamed as EAPCET from 2021 |
Reason for Change | Included medical admissions earlier | Medical admissions now handled by NEET, so "Medical" was replaced with "Pharmacy" |
Conducting Body | APSCHE (Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education) and TSCHE (Telangana State Council of Higher Education) | APSCHE (Andhra Pradesh) & TSCHE (Telangana) |
States Conducting Exam | Andhra Pradesh & Telangana | Andhra Pradesh & Telangana |
