How to Apply for BITS Pilani 2026 Full Tuition Scholarship?
You do not need to apply separately for the BITS Pilani Full Tuition (Tuition Fee Waiver) Scholarship 2026.
This scholarship is not provided after admission. If you are eligible, it will be clearly mentioned in your admission offer letter itself. This means there is no separate application form, additional documents, or extra process required from your side.
The institute mentioned that this move has become possible due to sustained contribution in alumni and institutional investment. Over time, BITS aims to progressively expand coverage, with a long-term vision of moving toward tuition-blind admissions for a larger number of students.

Institute’s Merit & Merit-Cum-Need Scholarships (First Degree Students) of BITSAT
Apart from the new tuition-blind policy, BITS Pilani isd continuing its scholarship structure. Approx 25% of students admitted to First Degree programmes will get some form of tuition fee every year.

This scholarship is completely performance-based and depends on the academics of the batch.

Important Conditions for Continuance of Scholarship
Students must meet the prescribed academic benchmarks for every semester as these scholarships are reviewed and renewed on the basis of performance by students. If the CGPA is decreased due to any reason, it can cause a partial or full withdrawal of the tuition fee scholarship.
- Scholarships are provided for one semester at a time.
- Renewal of the scholarship depends on maintaining good scholastic performance every semester.
- Fees and charges must be paid in advance before registration.
- No fee refund is provided in case of course withdrawal.
- Admission fee is not covered under any waiver.

Policy for 2+2 Dual Degree Programmes with Foreign Universities
The same merit and merit-cum-need scholarships are provided to students who get admission through international collaborative 2+2 programmes. This scholarship is only provided for the first two years at BITS campuses.
These programmes include collaborations such as:
- BITS–RMIT Higher Education Academy
- BITS–UB (UBITS) 2+2 International Collaborative Programme
- BITS–ISU 2+2 International Collaborative Programme
- BITS–CSP 2+2 International Collaborative Programme
- BITS–RPI 2+2 International Collaborative Programme
For these students:
- Tuition fee is capped at the same level as regular 4-/5-year programmes at Pilani, Goa, and Hyderabad campuses.
- For the last two years in abroad, scholarship benefits depend on the policies of the respective foreign universities.
