Dr. Pragyan Parimita Sarangi has an accomplished academic and research experience of more than 17 years. She holds an MBA degree in Finance and Marketing from Utkal University, Vani Vihar. She has a Ph.D. degree in Finance from Utkal University and her areas of interest include Security Analysis and Portfolio Management and Financial Derivatives. She has to her credit several research articles published in Journals of National and International repute. With her strong research acumen, she successfully coordinates the Research and Development cell of the institute. She also holds the position of IQAC coordinator and administers the institutional ranking activities. Presently, she is the Head of the IMBA program at Srusti Academy of Management.
What keeps you connected with the Education sector and how has your experience been so far with the institute?
I'm exceptionally energetic about showing students and exploring moving points and advancements. Additionally, working in the educational field affords me ample opportunities to continuously acquire new knowledge and keep up with the most recent changes. Furthermore, as a teacher I don't trust in passing the information however I have confidence in building areas of strength for a base. I'm continually connecting with youngsters half of my age, and even younger. Their youthful exuberance and innocence inspire me to prepare lectures that would be useful for them.
Being the Department Head of the institute, what are your roles and responsibilities towards the students?
As a Department Head, I accept that persistent development and advancement of showing teaching methods is the key to experiential learning. Furthermore, I keep myself refreshed with the most recent patterns and advancements of Finance and Economics, which at last aids me in the deliverability of the talks and upgradation of my courses. As a result, my primary responsibility is to improve and upgrade the knowledge of the students.
Which extracurricular activities are organized to enhance the skills of students?
