CET Trivandrum is a government engineering college, established in 1939 by the Government of Travancore. This institute is acknowledged and managed by the Government of Kerala. It is affiliated with APJ Abdul Kalam Technological University. Who is eligible for campus placements at CET?

Students who are in their final year of UG or PG courses are eligible to join campus placements at the CET. To get in the placement round, candidates should fulfil the institute's academic criteria, that is, maintain the required CGPA, and students should not have any active backlogs while appearing for placement. Also, the students need to follow the regulations of the Career Guidance and Placement Unit (CGPU), which might involve enrolling in placement activities, undergoing training sessions, and ensuring good attendance and behaviour during the academic year.

CET invites various international organisations during campus placements. Some of the well-known multinational organisations like Amazon Inc., Microsoft, Google, Oracle, Deloitte, KPMG International, Texas Instruments, and Daimler AG (Mercedes-Benz) have been recruiting students of CET in recent years. The companies provide salaries at par with industry standards, with some of the companies offering as much as ?34 lakh per year.
