Sir, what are your primary responsibilities as a Vice President and how do you balance them with other aspects of your job?

The primary responsibility of a Vice president is to see that the students who get admitted to this institution or group of institutions get the right kind of education and can pursue the career of their choice right away. They should be knowledgeable, skill-based, and able to get good jobs, become entrepreneurs, do good work, and become good citizens of this country.

Can you tell me more about the courses that MERI college offers for the students?

The courses that we are running at this moment are in engineering; we are running Btech and Mtech courses in Computer Science, electronics, mechanicals, and civil.

In law, we are running the BBA law program, the BA law program, the three-year LLB program, and the LLM program.

In management, we run MBA and BBA programs.

And in Information technology, we are running the BJMC program, which is a Journalism and Mass Communication program.

And under IT, we are running the BCA programs.

Can you tell me more about the placements and the opportunities that MERI college offers for the students?

Regarding the placement of this institution, it has been quite impressive. The Alumni of the college and the group of institutions are placed very well in their lives. We are now a thirty-year-old college, and we have alumni from all around the world who are well-placed and doing great in life.

Sir, what would you like people to know about MERI college that they might not know yet?

The MERI group of institutions is a college that promotes entrepreneurship, and we would like people to come and join us and become seasoned entrepreneurs. They should be able to start their startups and be a part of the unicorn movement in this country.

Sir apart from the studies/education, what are the other facilities like extracurricular amenities that are provided to the students?

Well, you are right; we are not only focusing on studies and education; but also on providing wholesome experiences to the students. We have sports facilities, then we have gymnasiums, and then we have cultural facilities. Particular emphasis is on cultural facilities and the facilities of the students. Alongside, in a professional college, music, and entertainment are not much of a part of it, so we have a special music room and music trainers who come and teach the students, and then we have cultural things like Kavi Samellan, and recitations, debates, interaction with a lot of people who are already in the market doing the jobs, and interaction with the corporate and industrial people.

These are the areas in which we would like to foster the wholesome personalities of the students.

What according to you are the future goals of this institution in the next ten years?

The future goal is to see the institution grow not only in India but also all around the world. And at this moment in time, one thing that defines NERI is that we have a lot of international collaborations that nobody, not many institutions in this part of the country have, and when we talk about international collaboration, we talk about student exchange programs and faculty exchange programs. Numerous students from different countries in the West come with us, study with us, and our students also go there. So that's one thing. In the next ten years, this is one area where we would like to grow further. Coming up from an autonomous institution and starting our university is also counting.

Sir as per you what are the greatest strengths of this institute?

The greatest strength of this institute is its belief in the wholesome development of the child. We work very hard on the personality part of the student, and the international experience this institute offers to its students is second to none in this country. It is the best, I would say, in Delhi and NCR, and that is another USP of the institution. Being placed in the centre of Delhi, we bring a lot of good faculty, as well as interaction with industry and good infrastructure, and intend to see the students grow.

Sir, any suggestions you would like to give the aspiring students?

Yes, the suggestion from my side is to remain focused. With several aberrations and opportunities all around us, it is on us to remain focused and take everything that is going on inside the institution for their growth. So they should remain focused and be clear about their goal. They must become job providers rather than job seekers.
