Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur Institute of Management and Information Technology (SGTBIMIT) was established in 2008 and is approved by the Directorate of Higher Education. SGTBIMIT Admission

SGTBIMIT is under the direct supervision of IP University. The candidates willing to take admission into this college are supposed to appear for a Joint Entrance Test Exam conducted by the IP University Namely GGSIPU CET. The vacant seats will be filled based on the merit list of CUET.

How to Apply?

The admission process starts with the Common Entrance Test (CET) conducted by GGSIP University.
All the aspirants must submit their application form online available on the University's official website: http://www.ipu.ac.in. The fee is around INR 1,000.
Every candidate must satisfy the eligibility criteria mentioned in the college brochure.
A separate Application form has to be filled out for each program having a separate CET Code.
The university displays rank based on the score of the CET exam and based on their ranks they are called for counselling procedure.
Students are then required to fill out a registration form for counseling sessions and after the results are declared they are supposed to go through the process of choice filling.
Seats are allocated based on choices filled and the fulfilment of eligibility criteria.
The admission process ends when the candidate freezes his or her seat and is called for spot counselling at the respective college.

The college has a well-functioning placement cell ensuring training and placements to the graduate students. The cell takes care of all the facilities being provided to the company officials that visit colleges such as audiovisual facilities, presentations, written tests, group discussions, and interviews. The top tier companies visiting college annually are Aon Hewitt, Infosys, Voice Tree Technologies, Wipro, Tech Mahindra, etc.

The institute offers internship opportunities in industrial and corporate sectors in leading companies such as HCL, IDBI, TCS (ION), Shine Project, Firstnaukri.com and many more. It helps the students to get real-life working experience. The Institute also conducts industrial visits for second and third-year students. Students were taken on an industrial visit to Parle, Yakult, Mother Diary and NSIC. A total of 48 companies visited the campus and hired 260+ students. Some of the top recruiters are Infosys, TCS, Naukri.com, Tech Mahindra, IDBI Bank, NIIT Technologies, Gyan Planet and many more. Seminar Room: The institute has an air-conditioned seminar hall, capable of accommodating 120 students. The seminar hall has facilities such as presentations, seminars, and conference adjusters.

Students view on course and faculties of campus

I chose BBA in Banking and Insurance I liked this course, I got to learn a lot, before this course I wanted BBA gernal, but I got this course. College teachers study very well and understand all the subjects very well. There are many different subjects in BBA and I had a lot of trouble in studying but the teachers of the college helped me a lot. College exams happen very quickly, we don't get much time and on top of that, we have to prepare for so many subjects. IMPROVEMENT:- It is very good to go to college or to have a course or all this is true but in today's time companies need experience or it is very important for placements to giving the work experience to the students for a good placements and their bright future. Therefore, the structure of the course should be changed from time to time and some new things should be added. And colleges should focus on making children learn work experience along with books.

Yes, intership opportunity was there, college was provided many types of intership to the student for the work experience and I asked to the senior students about the internship and they was said to me , intership was good but they give in noida and South Delhi

Placement scenario in campus, highest and average package being offered

Our college is provide many types of placements and many companies are visit in our college. Avarage placement was 4 lakhs per annum and highest placement in BBA was 12 lakh pr annum that wass nice in BBA . If any student not placed then teachers help a lot in that situation.

What is the total fees of the course?

My college fee structure is like :- In first year , I give 1,31,800 rupees to my college. In Second year, 1,19,000 And In third year, it's same fee like 1,19,000 . I was not take any type ko scholarships. The college was over all is good and they gives my types of awards to the students according their abilities and qualities. My college focused on placements and students improvement.

Various clubs and facilities available in campus

The size of the college is very small but over all the things are good like places, faculties, students, college environments and many things. There are many clubs in our college, children who want to join can join any club and can show their qualities. Infrastructure is not good but class size that was nice and in every class have their own projectors and a smart TV for learning that was nice for all.the students . Our college provide all ths thing to students for better learning and they are not compromise in that. They are provide all the book for every students and they don't charge any type of money

What are various steps involved during admission process of the college?

For the admission, I was fill the GGSIPU CET form and given the exam. The my rank is 13,935 and my Admission or college allowed in 3rd round. After getting allotted the scholarship, I went for a visit and talked to the faculty, how was the placements, how was the environment, and I asked many other things. After that I decided that it is better to take admission in this as the placement order is better than that of my colleges. Admission team filled the form of Rs 500 and filled all the personal and academic details. After admission, I was added to the WhatsApp group and they said that the details of the classes would be shared in it. FACULTY:- I have been studying in this college for one semester and I have seen the faculty thoroughly and understood that all the teachers are very friendly and familiar. The environment of the college is very good but the size of the college is very small, this is the only problem but the placements and facilities are very good. I like my college.

Personal development at our college was such that every student will develop his/her personality here.
Our college is also one of the oldest and is named after one of the 10 Gurus of Sikh Community.
Our college is at a walking distance from Model Town metro station.

Admission happens on merit here as caption fees are non negotiable here. Sports quota students, army quota and minorities do have special quota but otherwise for general students it is tough to get here. Cut-off for entrance was 94 percentile in 2021 and today it must be 96 or more.

I applied in delhi university also but we know the faculty of du is actually worse than ip university i gave cucet for entrance exam and the college i first alloted was in najafgarh and it was not that good in the second round i got IITM janakpuri but i didn't went there because of chapri crowd of uttam nagar and in the third round i got this college it s at pretty nice location near gurdwara nanak piao and the location is also safe for girls Admission process you have to give ip university entrance exam that is ip cucet and in that after results you can select college wht you want in the allotment process if you got enough rand like under 3k you can get this college

Dislikes

The infrastructure is very poor and only consists of 2 buildings that are of 3 floors.
No space for extracurricular activities and sports as the ground is very small.

Admission:

12th pass was the eligibility of the course. The application form, application fees and application dates are all available on the official website of the university. Details were provided in a PDF file on the site. The frequency of exams is bad as there is no gap between exams and the exams were mediocre. The admission process is too lenghty and should be reduced.

The infrastructure is not so good and the canteen of the college is so bad.

Admission:

The admission process is so easy for admission you only give the university entrance exam ipu cet but they also give oppurtunity to cuet candidates. The exam is out of 200 and its a objective exam which is easy . After the exam you will get the rssult im 3 weeks and then you have to make a college preference list on ghe site and apply for it . The top rankers who get the rank 1 ro 100 gets the top college of ipu easily and and remain will get a good college , and wait till the last round because nobody knows what will happen next.
