What Students Say

Likes

The teachers are very supportive but the other faculties are very arrogant.

Dislikes

The infrastructure is very poor and only consists of 2 buildings that are of 3 floors.
The food in canteen is poor quality and the menu only consists of fast food.
No space for extracurricular activities and sports as the ground is very small.

Course Curriculum Overview

The aspects of the curriculum are very relatable to the course and helps in the field alot. The curriculum prepares the students well for the real-world appllications as it helps in a workplace. The curriculum needs no improvement in my opinion. The exams do not have any gaps between them and the difficulty was mediocre.

Class Size: 120Course Fees: INR 112200 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees of the college was probably 55000, but the year I took admission it was hiked to 112200 without any particular reason. The complete cost of my education is around 300000. No scholarships provided. No campus employment like including job roles, responsibilities and stipends are provided.

Campus Life

There are no annual and technical festivals in the college campus. Library provides books that are only related to semester's syllabus. The classes have AC but they never work and labs are used for practical work. The sports and extracurricular activities are limited, only contains volleyball and basketball. No social groups, clubs, or student portals are available for the students.

Admission

12th pass was the eligibility of the course. The application form, application fees and application dates are all available on the official website of the university. Details were provided in a PDF file on the site. The frequency of exams is bad as there is no gap between exams and the exams were mediocre. The admission process is too lenghty and should be reduced.

Faculty

The teachers are pretty good and know their work well and also the classroom consists of 60 students at a time. The teaching approach methods are good and students also coordinate with them. The students can almost approach the teachers anytime.

Placements are also very good for a bachlor course my seniors have got package upto 4lpa and many are placed as junior developer in many MNCs . Some are building their own business . overall best college in Delhi Ncr for bca without maths students.

We have placement cell in our department and it is mostly active. Though, most of students go for higher studies after BCA but, If you want you can be placed in a good company if You have the skills . The college would help .

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose this course because i really like things about electronics, i feel attracted towards computer and stuff from childhood, then after opting computer science in 12th , i know what i want to do and chose this course. Talking about the faculty members, there is more than enough faculty members to handle the students, actually its more like a School where if one teacher is absent then some other teacher take the class. As far as the qualification of teachers is considered, i feel like they know how to teach there partiy subject, and that should be more than enough for students, teachers are nice and supportive towards students which i like the most about them. There are 2 semester in each year of course, in each semester there is one mid term exams and one end term exam, internal practical and external practical exams were akso held in each semester, and difficulty of exams is not so high, actually our teachers says that in IPU the more you write, the more you marks you get.

Can't say, first of all it's distance education and the lifestyle is such that it's ok to have what they have offered us in such a price range. Classes take place on weekends and hence you can hang out with friends outside the premises.

Admission happens on merit here as caption fees are non negotiable here. Sports quota students, army quota and minorities do have special quota but otherwise for general students it is tough to get here. Cut-off for entrance was 94 percentile in 2021 and today it must be 96 or more....Read More

I applied in delhi university also but we know the faculty of du is actually worse than ip university i gave cucet for entrance exam and the college i first alloted was in najafgarh and it was not that good in the second round i got IITM janakpuri but i didn't went there because of chapri crowd of uttam nagar and in the third round i got this college it s at pretty nice location near gurdwara nanak piao and the location is also safe for girls Admission process you have to give ip university entrance exam that is ip cucet and in that after results you can select college wht you want in the allotment process if you got enough rand like under 3k you can get this college...Read More

This college is affiliated by IPU. So I fu want to get admission you have to pass IpuCet exam which is conducted by GGSIPU itself every year. You can get easy admission in this college if u have some high rank also(marks are not that important) You can find Application form from the GGSIPU official site. The fees for registering for the exam is around 1500. Application dates are announced every year by GGSIPU itself. Keep checking their website after your board exams. There are few improvement I want to see in the admission process 1. The examination centre was too far away from my residence. I took 2 hours to reach there and I was exhausted in the way itself because of which I am not able to give my full potential. The other thing I want is that proper updates. Last time many students dknt even know about the fees because of which there were not able to sit in round 1-3....Read More
