Her career began as a newspaper reporter and she worked for three years before transitioning into academia as an Assistant Professor in 2019. The curriculum ensures the best practises in the media industry and provides students with ample opportunities, the curriculum is up-to-date, hands-on, and industry-relevant. We integrate practical experiences, guest lectures by industry experts, and the latest technology. Our emphasis is also on media ethics, multidisciplinary learning, portfolio development, and networking, which can further enrich students' education, preparing them to excel in a rapidly evolving and competitive media landscape while fostering a deeper understanding of the industry's best practices and opportunities.

Being a professor, what are your roles and responsibilities towards the students?
As an educator, I feel that students need to be connected to real work-life situations. It’s my responsibility to ensure that my students are engaged in coursework that has access to the best resources available and helps them understand real business problems that managers face.
I strive to create an environment where students can feel comfortable asking questions and exploring new ideas without fear of judgment.
How do you help your student to cope up with the competition being so high in the outside world?
I teach students to be adaptive and flexible and hone their skills to take on the frequent challenges as technology is constantly reducing the human element or involvement in all spheres of life.
