- Their Robotics and Artificial Intelligence Group is well-known worldwide. null
- What I cherished most about my college experience was the dynamic and supportive community. The campus was a hub of innovation, where ideas were not only welcomed but also nurtured. Professors were not just educators but mentors, guiding us through academic and personal growth. null
- The diverse student body offered a rich cultural exchange, broadening my worldview. Additionally, the university's commitment to cutting-edge research and practical learning provided invaluable opportunities to engage in projects that had real-world impact. null
Dislikes:
- While my university offered numerous opportunities, there were areas that could be improved. One aspect was the limited practical exposure in some courses, which didn't align completely with industry requirements. null
Campus Life
There is Wifi at every educational building so that you stay connected. There are also sports and other programs hosted by the university.
Hostel
Normally, at a student dorm it costs on an average 350 euros and all the dorms are easily reachable. Otherwise, there are private institutes and apartments.

Campus Life
The infrastructure is top notch and you have access to almost everything you can expect.

It's not easy to find accommodation in Freiburg. The rents range from 250 to 450 for student apartments. The prices have increased recently due to the energy crisis. A personal example; I live in an apartment with 4 people with individual bedrooms, a common kitchen and two bathrooms for 380 euros per month in an apartment complex owned by the student union, which is hard to get.

Campus Life
The campus life is just chill and have a good atmosphere but yes not to forget that German people are quite reserved but are really nice by heart once you know them. But sometimes you might feel a bit lonely here due to the silence. The research facilities is tremendous in Germany itself and there are many research institutes like Fraunhofer, Maxwell, etc.
Hostel
There are different options for accommodations but the most difficult part is finding one here in Germany.

- The course subjects were really good and it aligned with my interests. null
- The course structure of university is really great. It gives you flexibility of choosing courses and you can choose from upto 150 courses. ,The professors in the university are experts in their fields and the course content is completely designed by them. Which is the reason why the course content is very recent and relevant to current times. null
- Additionally, It is located in Freiburg which a city in South Germany close to the Switzerland and France border. It is the sunniest city of Freiburg full of students and a great city to live in. null
Dislikes:
- The course and the subjects in general a re quite hard. Students on an average take up to three years to complete the courses. null
- Although with repetitive feedback from our and older batches the course structure and credit requirements have been changed which seems to have reduced the average duration a little bit .

The campus infrastructure is quite good. The University library is quite fancy and at the center of the city. A lot of people go to the library to study but most things are available online and people do not generally use books that much in my field. The city is lively in general so you can find extracurricular activities that do not have to be part of the university as well.
Hostel
Getting a accommodation is challenging, however some preference is given to new incoming students for dorms but later on you need to find accommodation in the city on your own which is difficult to get.
Hostel
I stay in a dormitory. Its a 4 sharing WG. Sharing dorms can be found easily from SWFR or IES Abroad. The average rent is 320 euros per month (warm).
One of the best universities of Germany with a good research faculty in ML/AI. Also the robot learning lab of the university is one of the best labs in Europe.
Hostel
Student housing is really affordable. It can be as low as 200 euros/month. Students can also live in another part of the city in shared housing which ranges from expensive to cheap. shared housing near the city center can be a minimum of 500 euros/month and away from the city can be very cheap. Freiburg and the whole of Germany have a very good transport system of trams, trains, buses, underground trains, and air travel. The basic cost of living for a student is 750-850 Euros/month.
The University of Freiburg is considered among the best universities in Germany. Every year it ranks under 100 in Biology and many other disciplines. Freiburg is a vibrant city and has a diverse student culture. Research opportunity in Germany brings students to a higher category for a career after education.
