- I was interested in Biomedical engineering and this university does extensive research in this field.
Very good, quite international, insightful and full of knowledge. I got to learn the very best from best professors in my field. The city is beautiful, a lot of options for recreation, many possibility of travel, student friendly and very happening.
Course Curriculum
Very up to date curriculum. Mostly research oriented university, lab courses available, working possibility in research lab is also possible.
Exams
The prerequisites for applying for admission were English proficiency C1(IELTS, TOEFL, Cambridge CAE or CPE, Pearson PTE, telc University, TOEIC, OOPT were accepted), Undergraduate diploma, Undergraduate transcript of record, recommendation letter from professor using university specific form, a statement of purpose, etc.). My IELTS score was 7.5 and requirement was 7.0. No interview round.
Placement
You have to apply on your own for jobs, so it is difficult but the university is well known so people get hired quickly (3-4 months time max).
Internship
No internships only HiWi in research institute.
Fees
1661€ per semester (avg. duration 5-6 sem), get a part time job from second semester so that you can finance yourself.
Faculty
Around 440 student and 22 professor. All professors were extremely good and very well reached in case of subject related doubts.
Campus Life
Many activities for international students like excursions in mountain, to nearby cities etc. Free WiFi for students in all campuses spread across whole city.
Hostel
Student dorms available, rent from 250€ to 800€.
