- The program and the amount of research that happens in the university is tremendous. Also the professors that teach here are highly rated across the world to add to that.
My overall experience has been fun and exciting with an impressive experience of education culture in Germany. But also the struggles are always there be it the language barrier or the accommodations hunt.
Course Curriculum
Well the best part of German universities is that their curriculum is adapted based on their industry requirements and hence is update with the current trends.
Exams
My scores: IELTS 8.0, GRE 305, well the basic requirement is to have at least 6.5 and greater in IELTS, the GRE score is not necessary. Motivation Letter, CV, LORs, you should majorly include about the projects you had done in your previous study about the work experience and why you want o join this course and why the particular university, what you expect to do after the studies. No I did not have any interview.
Placement
Well here unlike India you need to find jobs on your own through different mediums such as LinkedIn, through posting mentioned in university mails, and other websites.
Internship
I am a work student with TRUMPF, I get paid 15 euros/hour and allowed to work for 20 hrs per week. I work as a Embedded Software Developer the company.
Fees
1.5 lakhs per semester.
Faculty
Well the faculty student ration is quite good, not sure about the number. But the professors are all with PhDs I. The respective field and are very very approachable.
Campus Life
The campus life is just chill and have a good atmosphere but yes not to forget that German people are quite reserved but are really nice by heart once you know them. But sometimes you might feel a bit lonely here due to the silence. The research facilities is tremendous in Germany itself and there are many research institutes like Fraunhofer, Maxwell, etc.
Hostel
There are different options for accommodations but the most difficult part is finding one here in Germany.
