As per the changes introduced in UP Board 12th Exam Pattern, the question paper will be divided into two sections: A and B. Section A will have MCQs (multiple choice questions), whereas Section B will have subjective-type questions.
The total duration for the UP Board Class 12 exams will be 3 hours and 15 minutes. UP Board 12th Exams 2025 will be conducted for a total of 100 marks for each subject. The total marks for the theory paper are 70 and the rest 30 marks are for the practicals. For subjects without practicals, the total marks for the theory paper will be 100.
Students have to score at least 33% marks to pass the board exams. If a student fails to score passing marks in any subject, he/she will be placed in the compartment exam category. Such students will have to reappear for the subject in UP Board 12th Compartment Exams. The compartment exams will follow the same paper pattern as the regular exams.
UP Board is expected to conduct board exams of class 12 in February-March, 2025. The final UP Board 12th Time Table 2025 will be released on the official website upmsp.edu.in in January 2025.

According to the updated pattern, the question paper will be divided into five parts as follows:
