The NEET PG Counselling 2025 is expected to start from the last week of September. The NBEMS has officially released the NEET PG Merit for 50% AIQ Seats on the official website, natboard.edu.in. The MCC will conduct the NEET PG Counselling 2025 for the 50% AIQ Seats, and the other state authorities will handle the other 50% state quota seats separately.
- In NEET PG 2025, conducted on 3rd August 2025, around 1.7 lakh candidates appeared for the exam, for around 26,000 seats of MD/MS/PG Diploma courses in different government, private and deemed universities.
- The NEET PG Counselling 2025 will be held in 4 rounds: Round 1, Round 2, Mop-Up Round and Stray vacancy round.
- You have to register online on mcc.nic.in, fill choices and lock the preferences before the seat allotment results are declared.
If you have been allotted a seat, then you should report to the allotted institute along with the required documents and fee receipts.
In the year 2024, around 95% of the AIQ Seats were filled by the Mop-up round, and the other seats were filled in the centralised stray vacancy round.

The NEET PG Counselling 2025 Security deposit is a refundable amount, which is paid along with the NEET PG Registration fee. The NEET PG Security deposit refund is generated by MCC for the registered candidate’s bank account after the completion of counselling.
