The authorities will publish the NEET PG score, answer keys, and normalization formulae for multiple question paper sets. NEET PG 2025 exam was conducted on August 3, 2025, in a single shift from 9 AM to 12.30 PM. Over 2.42 lakh candidates have appeared for the NEET PG 2025 exam. Candidates had to answer 200 questions divided into three parts – Pre Clinical, Para Clinical, and Clinical. The exam duration is 3 hours 30 minutes. 4 marks are awarded for every correct answer and 1 mark is deducted for every incorrect answer. NEET PG 2025 total marks is 800.

Steps to Download NEET PG 2025 Answer Keys
NBEMS will release the NEET PG 2025 answer keys on the official website – natboard.edu.in, to ensure transparency. Here is the step-by-step guideline to download the official NEET PG answer key 2025:
- Go to the NBEMS Official Website – natboard.edu.in.
- Click on the “NEET PG” exam tab.
- Find the Candidate Login Portal.
- Log in with your credentials – User ID and Password (generated during registration).
- Check and download the NEET PG answer key and NEET PG response sheet.
Steps to Raise Objections Against NEET PG Answer Keys
Generally, if the NEET PG 2025 answer key is released by the NBE, candidates can raise objections against the same with a payment of INR 1000. The answer keys from the NBE website, i.e., natboard.edu.in, by entering user ID and password. Students must provide proper justification while challenging the answer keys, and choosing the right response.
- There is no provision to challenge the answer keys provided by the coaching institutes.
Steps to Calculate Scores with NEET PG Answer Keys
Students must understand the exam pattern to calculate the probable scores with the official answer keys. Candidates can also determine if they have achieved the qualifying cut off marks after calculating their scores. NEET 2025 marking scheme has been tabulated below:

This year, the NEET PG 2025 overall difficulty level was moderate to tough. The difficulty was not uniform in all sections—some were more challenging and time-consuming, particularly Medicine, Surgery, and Obstetrics. As per NEET PG previous year analysis, the shift-wise difficulty for each section is as follows:

NEET PG 2025 Tie-Breaking Policy
In case more than one candidate obtained a similar high score in the exam, the following rules will be implemented for breaking the ties:
- Candidates having a greater number of correct responses in NEET PG paper will be placed in a better merit position at first.
- Secondly, the one having a lesser number of negative responses in NEET PG paper will be placed in a better merit position.
- If the tie persists, the older age candidates will be determined for a merit position.
- Lastly, students with higher aggregate percentages in all MBBS professional examinations will be considered for merit.

NEET PG marks vs rank help students determine their rank following the scores they have obtained in the exam. For the general category, a good and safe score will be 280-295, and 245-260 for reserved categories.

NEET PG 2025 Result
The NEET PG 2025 results were released on August 19, 2025, at the website, natboard.edu.in. The validity period for the results will be the current academic session. Candidates need to provide their user ID and password to download their respective scorecards. Once released, the results cannot be sent for re-evaluation or re-verification. NEET PG merit list will be published based on the All India 50% quota rank.
- NEET PG scorecard 2025 for individual candidates will be released on August 29, 2025, after the result. The scorecard provides vital information such as roll number, category, All India Rank (AIR), and NEET PG Rank, which will be crucial for admission to postgraduate medical courses.
- NEET PG result 2025 is valid for one year only. Score card shall be available for download only for a period of 6 months.
