Scoring Boosters Para-Clinical Dominance Prioritize subjects like Pathology and Microbiology. These areas are conceptually deep, highly high-yielding, and critical for a top rank.
Retention Strategy Multi-Round Revision Plan for at least 2–3 complete rounds of revision before the exam to lock information into long-term memory. Never drop a subject halfway.
Exam Insights Previous Year Papers (PYQs) Regularly solve official previous year papers to understand the framing of clinical vignettes and isolate repeating high-yield themes.

Hello sir/madam, My daughter is appearing for her NEET-PG exam this year. We reside in UAE and wanted to know that if she applies under NRI quota, is it possible to shift to General category later on if needed? Also is vice-vera possible?
R
ruchi ranjan
Mar 9, 2024 22:31

Once a candidate applies under the NRI quota, it is generally not possible to switch to the general category during the admission process.
If your daughter applies for the NRI quota, she will be considered as an NRI candidate throughout the admission process. The fee charged for NRI seats is usually higher than that for other categories. If your daughter initially applies under the general category and later wishes to switch to the NRI quota, it may not be straightforward. It is advisable to carefully choose the category during the application process to avoid complications later.

  • NRI seat fees are typically more than those for other categories.
  • Once you apply under the NRI quota, it is generally not possible to switch to the general category during the admission process.

Applying Under General Category:

  • If you apply under the general category, you will be considered as a general candidate during counseling.
  • However, if you initially apply under the general category and later wish to switch to the NRI quota, it may not be straightforward.
  • It is advisable to carefully choose the category during the application process to avoid complications later.
