NEET PG 2026 Exam Center Allotment Process

NBEMS follows a structured process to allot exam centers to NEET PG 2026 candidates. The process unfolds in two steps - first the city is communicated, then the specific center address is provided closer to the exam date.

Candidates are strongly advised to choose cities closest to their place of residence as the first preference. Since no center change request is accepted after the city intimation slip is released, careful selection at the time of form filling is critical.

NEET PG 2026 Exam Center Change: Is It Allowed?

Once a candidate has been allotted an exam city through the NEET PG 2026 city intimation slip, NBEMS does not accept any request for change of exam city or center from candidates under normal circumstances. The allotment is final and binding on the candidate.

NBEMS may, however, modify or change exam centers in extraordinary situations such as:

• Non-availability of required infrastructure or power supply at a center
• Technical or administrative issues that make a center unsuitable for conducting the examination
• Natural calamities, strikes, or force majeure events affecting a specific location
• Court directives or regulatory instructions

In the event of an NBEMS-initiated center change, fresh admit cards with updated center details are issued to affected candidates through the official portal. Candidates must check the official NBEMS website for any such notifications in the days leading up to August 30, 2026.

Note: Candidates should select exam cities nearest to their home as the first preference during registration. No self-initiated center change request is accepted after the city intimation slip is released.

How to check NEET PG Exam Center 2026 Allotted?

After successful registration, NBEMS communicates each candidate’s allotted exam city through the NEET PG 2026 city intimation slip. Based on the 2025 schedule (city intimation slip released July 21, 2025), the NEET PG 2026 city intimation slip is expected in July 2026. The full exam center address within the allotted city will then be available on the NEET PG Admit Card 2026, expected in August 2026 on the official NBEMS portal.

Steps to check the NEET PG 2026 exam center allotted:

• Step 1: Visit the official website of NBEMS at natboard.edu.in.
• Step 2: Click on the link for "NEET PG 2026 City Intimation Slip" or "Check Allotted Exam Center".
• Step 3: Enter your NEET PG 2026 application number, date of birth, and registered email ID or password.
• Step 4: Click on "Submit" or "Proceed" after entering all required details.
• Step 5: View your allotted exam city. Download and print the city intimation slip for future reference.

Note: Candidates are required to appear for the test on the designated date and time at the allocated exam venue. No alternative arrangements will be made for candidates who fail to report to their allotted center.

NEET PG 2026 Exam Day Instructions

NEET PG 2026 is scheduled on August 30, 2026, as a Computer Based Test (CBT) in a single shift from 9:00 AM to 12:30 PM. Candidates must follow all instructions issued by NBEMS for the exam center on exam day:

1. All candidates must carry the NEET PG Admit Card 2026 to the exam center along with a valid government-issued photo ID proof.
2. Report to the exam center at least 90 minutes before the commencement of the examination. Entry gates close strictly at 8:30 AM and no candidate will be admitted after this time under any circumstances.
3. Carry a photocopy of the permanent or provisional MCI/State Medical Council (SMC) registration certificate to the exam center.
4. If possible, visit the exam center one day before August 30 to familiarise yourself with the exact location and travel route.
5. Sit only at the seat designated by the invigilator. Candidates must not occupy any seat other than the one assigned to them.
6. All NEET PG 2026 exam centers are under continuous CCTV surveillance. Biometric identification of candidates is carried out at the time of entry.
7. Mobile phones, smartwatches, Bluetooth devices, digital calculators, pagers, and any electronic gadgets are strictly prohibited inside the exam hall. Candidates found with prohibited items will be debarred from the examination.
8. Rough work must be done only on the sheet provided at the center. All rough sheets must be submitted to the invigilator before leaving the hall.
9. Report any technical problem with the computer system immediately to the invigilator present in the hall.
10. Do not leave the exam hall until the examination concludes and the invigilator formally permits candidates to exit.
