NEET PG 2026 Exam Center Allotment Process
NBEMS follows a structured process to allot exam centers to NEET PG 2026 candidates. The process unfolds in two steps - first the city is communicated, then the specific center address is provided closer to the exam date.
| Stage | Details | Expected Timeline |
| City Preference Submission | Candidates select up to 3 preferred exam cities in order of preference during online registration | During registration window |
| City Allotment | NBEMS allots one city from the 3 chosen preferences based on seat availability and administrative feasibility | After registration closes |
| City Intimation Slip | The allotted exam city is communicated to each candidate via the city intimation slip on the official portal | July 2026 (expected) |
| Admit Card with Center Address | The specific exam center address, hall number, and reporting time are printed on the NEET PG Admit Card 2026 | August 2026 (expected) |
Candidates are strongly advised to choose cities closest to their place of residence as the first preference. Since no center change request is accepted after the city intimation slip is released, careful selection at the time of form filling is critical.
NEET PG 2026 Exam Center Change: Is It Allowed?
Once a candidate has been allotted an exam city through the NEET PG 2026 city intimation slip, NBEMS does not accept any request for change of exam city or center from candidates under normal circumstances. The allotment is final and binding on the candidate.
NBEMS may, however, modify or change exam centers in extraordinary situations such as:
- Non-availability of required infrastructure or power supply at a center
- Technical or administrative issues that make a center unsuitable for conducting the examination
- Natural calamities, strikes, or force majeure events affecting a specific location
- Court directives or regulatory instructions
In the event of an NBEMS-initiated center change, fresh admit cards with updated center details are issued to affected candidates through the official portal. Candidates must check the official NBEMS website for any such notifications in the days leading up to August 30, 2026.
Note: Candidates should select exam cities nearest to their home as the first preference during registration. No self-initiated center change request is accepted after the city intimation slip is released.
