FAQs

Ques: Can I get a COEP with 95 percentile in MHT CET?

Ans: Yes, you can get into COEP pune lower-demand branches such as Civil, Metallurgy, or Production Engineering, potentially in later or spot rounds. With 95 percentile in MHT CET, securing a seat at COEP (Pune Technological University) is challenging for top-tier branches (CS/IT) as a general candidate.

  • Top Branches (CS/IT/ENTC): Usually require 98.8–99.9+ percentile.
  • Other Branches (Mech/Elec): Usually close above 98 percentile.

Ques: Is MHT CET counselling online?

Ans: Yes, MHT CET counselling 2025 is a completely online process through the Maharashtra CET Cell official website, cetcell.mahacet.org. Each Stage of MHT CET Counselling will be conducted digitally through the CAP System.

Ques: Is 170 a good score in MHT CET?

Ans: Yes, a score of 170 in MHT CET 2026 is considered a very good score. You will be in the top tier of candidates and likely securing a high percentile (99+). This score is generally sufficient for admission to top-tier colleges like COEP Pune, VJTI Mumbai, and PICT Pune for top branches like Computer Science and IT.
