Maharashtra State Common Entrance Test cell has officially released the MHT CET 2025 syllabus on its website. The MHT CET Physics syllabus is aligned with the Maharashtra State Board Syllabus for Class 11 and Class 12 to ensure that students are familiar with the topics covered.

  • In MHT CET Physics 20% of questions will be based on Class 11 subjects that include mechanics, gravity, and vibrations, laying the foundation
  • Whereas, 80% of questions will be based on the class 12th syllabus Emphasizes concepts such as static electricity, electric current, and optics which are important for scoring well.

Subjects like electrostatics, current electricity, optics, and thermodynamics frequently carry a lot of weight and require careful preparation.

In recent years, the competition has intensified, with students achieving exceptional results:

  • A total of 37 candidates scored exactly 100 percent in MHT CET 2024, demonstrating the high level of preparation among the candidates.
  • In MHT CET 2023, 28 students scored 100 percent, indicating a continuously increasing standard of competition and preparation.

Will CET Happen in 2025?

Yes, MHT CET 2025 will be held as scheduled by the Maharashtra State CET cell. Although the exact date will be announced later. But it generally takes place in April or May. The exam uses a computer-based testing (CBT) format and has multiple choice questions (MCQs) on subjects such as physics, chemistry, and mathematics. (for Engineering) and Physics, Chemistry, and Biology. (For Pharmacy) .
