Uttar Pradesh BSc Agriculture Admission is done on the basis of a candidate’s performance in the UPCATET entrance exam. It is a state-level exam conducted to provide admission to agricultural courses. 

A special round of counselling is being conducted. Candidates can register till November 8, 2024. They can report to their allocated colleges between November 10 – 13, 2024. 

Candidates should have completed their 10+2 from the Science stream with Agriculture Science as a compulsory subject from a recognized board. Candidates should have a minimum of 60% of aggregate marks in their Class 12th examinations.

UP BSc Agriculture Admission 2024: Eligibility

  • A candidate must be at least 17 years of age while applying for the UPCATET.
  • The maximum age to apply for UPCATET is 22 years.
  • Candidates must have completed 12th with Physics, Chemistry, and Agriculture Sciences/Mathematics/Biology as core subjects.
  • Candidates must score a minimum of 60% aggregate marks in class 12 or equivalent examinations.

UP BSc Agriculture Admission Process 2024

The candidates who want to be admitted to the BSc Agriculture Course must apply online using the following steps.

  • Visit the official website of the UPCATET. 
  • Click on new registration, and log in with your credentials.
  • Fill in all relevant information and upload all the necessary documents.
  • Click Submit and make the fee payment.
  • After successfully paying the application fee, candidates can download their admit cards and sit for the UPCATET exam on the notified day.

UP BSc Agriculture Admission 2024: Syllabus

  • The UPCATET syllabus comprises the basic questions from the class 12th subjects such as Physics, Chemistry and Biology.
  • The exam has 200 MCQs out of which 20 questions are also allotted to General Aptitude and Current Affairs.
  • Candidates must pay extra focus to the Biology subject as the Biology section consists of 80 questions whereas Physics and Chemistry sections have 50 questions each.

Candidates can check their results by logging in to the official website. You have to log in to the official portal and view the result. You should take a print out of the result for future use. The result of UPCATET 2024 was released on June 22, 2024.
