Fees and Financial Aid

When the exam is held, the university charges 400 taka for the exam fee registration. Please, in the first year, it took 450 taka and for the first year, it took 2000 taka and for the third semester, it took 1800 taka again and I I live in a hostel and the government takes fifteen hundred taka a year. The hostel costs 4500 per month, so I go to do this job.

Course Curriculum Overview

Help is always available, everyone in our department helps. But classes are compulsory and there are advanced science labs. The fees for science are less than other colleges. But Calcutta University is a little late in giving results and also gives low marks.

Campus Life

Our college days were very good. Rabindra Jayanti was celebrated every year as an annual function in our college. Besides sports, small events were held. For example, language day was celebrated in our Bengali department. Apart from this, teachers' day, nature's day etc. were celebrated. But our only regret is that we were able to complete one and a half years of college for only three semesters. Due to the onset of the COVID 19 pandemic our college was closed our fourth fifth and sixth semesters went online due to which one and a half years of our college life was lost. This is very sad for us

Faculty

All sirs and madams in our department were very nice. Everyone treated us well there was one sir who was a bit different but other than that all ma'am and sir were very nice. There were total five teachers in our department including three ma'am and two sir. Out of these five people I like Rakhi Ma'am Shampa Ma'am and SM Sir very well because they explained very well, finished the syllabus on time and gave importance to the class. He was very helpful to all the students. I liked it very much, especially in terms of studies.

Every three months and mostly seminars was held And frankly speaking there was no such campus lif but the thing I can say is that the classrooms are good enough for studying and the library also have large stock atleast for my course i.e Bengali hons. I can say that Sports was also held in the winters in the near by field. There were many social groups in college but I was not a part of any and I will recommend no one to join, as u come to college to study not to do groupism.
