Faculty:
The faculty to student ratio is approx 1:10 which allows reasonable personalised attention to students. With around 30 to 40 faculty and 300 to 350 students there is good probablity for students to interact with teachers. Faculties are usually friendly and approachable in academic and professional matters. However there are instances where the relationship is less seemless often influenced by individuals. Many faculties have transfered to ither colleges or left the college and nee faculties are being taken too. For Pharm.D there are 3 theory sessional exams and 2 practical exams in each year and a university exam which is the final exam thus comprise of 4 examinations. For 1st year there are 6 subjects (5 university and 1 non-university) and 5 practicals too. The 2nd year to 4th year there are 6 subjects and practical subjects are 3,5,4 for the 2nd, 3rd and 4th year respectively. The 5th year has only 3 subject but has 2 practical subjects called clerkship and project. Project is basically a research that is done in the college based on different articles. All the exams are really very hard to clear and if failed in a subject the Suplementory exam have to be written. Only if a student clears all subject of 1st year alcan they sit in 3rd year similarly only if a student clears all subject of 2nd year will theh be able to sit in 4th year classes. Only iff all the 4 year subjects are vleared will the students be able to sit in 5th year class. Only if all 5 year subjects are cleared can a student start their internship.
