Course Curriculum Overview
The practical sessions of the courses are the most effective way to implement and integrate the theoretical knowledge accumulated in the classes. The hospital trainings and ward rounds are the best tools to cultivate and condition the personnel to be ready for the medical world.
Internships Opportunities
There is internships provided during the duration of the course at pushpagiri College of pharmacy for pharm.D students. There are scope for other internships depending on the field u wan to explore in.
Fees and Financial Aid
1,90,000 per year tuition fee for 6 years each Admission fee, registration fee, college union fee all sums upto 138000 which as taken on Admission. NRI quota is also available for upto 5 students in a batch of 30 students
Campus Life
The campus life is fine if ir able to condition yourselves with the giver circumstances. Social events are less in the campus other than the atrs fests and sports fests hosted by the student's union every year
Hostel Facilities
The hostel is in the campus premises and its is very affordable. The meals given are decent including vegetarian and non vegetarian food and evening tea and snacks. The regeneration to hostel is usually done at the time of admission.
Admission
It was the first college i gathered details about and the clinical training programme in pushpagiri medical college is the factor that attracted me to pursue this course in this college which was not the case in care of other colleges
Faculty
There are 35 teaching staff including all the professors, associate professors and assistant professors. The faculty are considerably approachable. There are 3 sessional exams in which one has to secure above 50 percent in any 2 exams separately to be qualified to attend university.
Night Life
There is no light life in the college campus. We have to report back to hostel by 7 pm and we can go out in emergencies after letting the authorities know. The outings are usually to the 2 towns (tiruvalla or chennasery) whi h are near by.
