Remarks

Not a good remark about college ,for a better college ,I won't suggest this college as this is a shithole, maybe whole pharmacy college maybe like this ,I don't know, anyways this college is just fine because of the fest you get ,as this college campus also contains an engineering college ,we can go for engineering college fest.

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

Course ,yeah it's fine ,good course Pharm.D is a good course with good scope but in India not so good scope but after graduation it will get good as this course is new ! It's getting familiar day by day so we can hope the course will be success in the future. Exam yeah it's fine but the year out scheme is not that good as per the KUHS(university) those who failed in 3subjects n more cannot sit for the next year and thus yearback.except that everything is fine

Placement Experience

3

Placements, yup it's fine ,it will be fine currently ,here in Kerala ,no good placements but in the future we'll get good placements or we can hope so. And yup our college do provide internship ,in the sixth year and we don't know much about the stipend

College Events

2

NSITE-tech fest by our college, Pharma expo -exhibition of pharmacy related stuffs, BLOOM-cultural fest, Onam celebration and a lot of other festivals are celebrated here,we have a pharmacy week full of celebrations like arts ,sports ,seminars etc.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee structure is so expensive, Pharm.D course is so expensive that you have to give about 18lakhs for completing the course and then there comes this hostel, mess fee extra then other miscellaneous fees, like for arts, sports, tech fest etc.

Fees and Financial Aid

Meritorial scholarship -we can avail this scholarship by attaining a minimum of 85% of marks in 12th for the so called backward classes ,for the scheduled caste or scheduled tribe and there is much interesting scholarships for OBC class also

Campus Life

2.5

Pharm.D is full of labs ,in the first year there is labs like Human Anatomy and Physiology Lab,Pharmaceutics lab, Chemistry lab and in the second year there is microbiology lab and pharmacognosy lab and then pharmacotherapeutics and the rest are yet to be known

Hostel Facilities

2.5

hostel is just fine ,tho we don't get that cool hostel atmosphere like we see in movies , infrastructure,we can give 3star out of 5 and then the facilities we can give 2star out of 5 ,overall hostel is just fine

Alumni/Alumna

Yup ,of course the seniors are so helpful in giving their kind advice and also providing with their notes and other study materials and also their kind motivation and inspiration, alumni network don't know much about alumni network I haven't seen any alumni meeting here after I joined college

Admission

Getting an admission in this college is so easy that ,by giving the donation fees, and just a small round of interview with some easy questions and submitting your certificates , interview is just some sorta boasting kinda.

Faculty

3

Faculty ,yeah it totally depends ,some faculties are good but some are not that good ,but majority of them are not that good as we are getting a depressing atmosphere here not a good ambience but majority of the teachers are fine but when it comes to college life(being not that good here) yeah inshort it's just fine!

The practical sessions of the courses are the most effective way to implement and integrate the theoretical knowledge accumulated in the classes. The hospital trainings and ward rounds are the best tools to cultivate and condition the personnel to be ready for the medical world.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course docter of pharmacy provides insights into the use of modern medicine and therapeutics. After completing pharmd you can work as a clinical pharmacist and help docters design thier treatment regimon that provides maximum benefits to patients and is cost effective. This influenced my decision to choose this course. But for real world applications the preparation provided but the curriculum is not upto the marks. Yet the college manages to provide as clinical postings in hospital which helps to improve patient student interactions and real world conditions. I find the course still needs improvement in improving the application level skills of the students. Since the academic schedule is planned yearly the frequency and timing of exams is not too hectic. Yet there is a lot of topics to be covered in a short time. The timing in between two exams is short.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The college is known for its hospital. Its situated in a good area of town. This course is a developing course hence was new to me. The curriculum system is mainly based on improving theoretical knowledge and gives less importance in practical knowledge gain. But the course is practically useful in hospitals as it is a very important in patient counselling. Doctors diagnose the patient whereas it is the clinical pharmacist who shoild prescribr and give patient counselling about the medicine to the patient or by-stander. Hence academically the curriculum supports students by providing hospital trainings during 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th year and internship. Improvement can be done in the examination system by not making student study just for the exams and implement practical gain of knowledge. Teaching methods can be for student freindly and interactive instead of just showing slideshows which are done most of the time. Exams are conducted according to an academic calender hiven ecmvery year for that particilar year. Usually 3 sessionals are written in every 2 to 3 months. Questions for the exam are of all kinds ranging from simple to application level.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Soevific asoects of the curriculum that influenced me to decide doing Pharmd program is, in our country there is lot of prescribing errors and dispensing errors making patient life more danger. In my point of view. PharmD is an bridge between Prescriber and patient. The pharmd curriculum established by india(PCI) is not good. Because it is almost same as Bpharm curriculum. The areas for improving the course curriculum and teaching methods are to include subjects like general medicine, General Prescribing guidelines to make the pharmd as prescribing doctors and to enhance the deep into the medicine.
