Likes

The faculty is so good and friendly and the teaching method is good and the professor use technical tools.
There are opportunities for scholarships to like the government funded scholarship.
I made quite a good amount of friends and enjoyed various annual festivals that were organised in the college.

Dislikes

The canteen facilities were not so good , and some teachers were rude
campus was sometime very dirty which is not good for students health
I didn't like the behaviour of some staff sometimes they are very rude sometimes

The life in darrang college

Likes

I think our college darrang college needs improvement in fees areas including the sports
The academic building are one of the few things i like
The overall environment is pretty good

Dislikes

The working staff are very rude sometimes
Improvement in sports area like playground
Not all but few class are really dirty in collage

I wanted to learn about the AI and computer science so I decided to choose to graduate in bachelor in computer science.its really nich in this course.need improvement in practical teaching.there are two exam one is sessional exam and the final exam.

Likes

I liked the Laboratory of Computer Science Department.
I liked the library of our college which is well managed.

Dislikes

I didn't like the area of washroom as it is not very well managed.
The Boys Common Room is too dirty and the washroom attached there is never washed.

Placement Experience:

For campus placement the students should be in final semester or should be graduated.. Automobile companies visit for the placement and it is limited. The package they offer is like 5-6 LPA . 5% of the total students are getting the placements. My plan is to prepare for competitive exams after getting the degree .

Improvement in Sports activities needed

The campus is comparatively big considering the colleges in Assam.
Located near the center of the town, helps in finding utilities and supplies required for the curriculum.

Dislikes

As a result of located near the center of the town, it can get very noisy during the rush hour.
There is little to no sports activities or competitions, neither local nor intercollegiate.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Learning about different forms and genres of literature was what peaked my interest to choose this course. The works of various influential literature writers that are included in the curriculum are relevant but could be a bit overwhelming at first. The length of the curriculum sometimes put the professors in pressure to complete their assigned syllabus and skip a bit. And some who don't skip, are unable to complete their sullabus. The curriculum may be improved by reducing the some of the contents.

I like the teacher and their teaching and their guidance
I like none teaching employees they always help
I like common room separate for boys to spant free time with friends

Dislikes

The college website need to develop sometime it stuck
Need to add some digital technology for teaching
I dislike parking need to upgrade parking add cctv to the parking

Geography Bsc is a good choice many job opportunities in this course, it is a multiple fields study like natural study and urban development studies that make a complete package for multiple knowledge

The teaching staff were so friendly and understanding, helping every way possible

The college canteen was not hygienic with poor food quality

The curriculum forces you to compete with the real world as it was so relatable and usefull in the real world. Exams were held in the frequency of 2-3 months and the class test were help more frequently

Likes

I liked the academic structure of my College. Its very well developed and better' infrastructures.
I liked that our college has a name for its cultural events.
I liked that the students of our college appreciates the students for their doing in good work

Dislikes

The toilets are verydirty and smelly , the doors are also broken
The members of college counter are not at all attentive towards serious issues
Our college does not provide enough opportunities and facilities

Even after NEP cover our course but I still think there are some outdated things included in your curriculum but as it's not only our college problem the curriculum is set by guwahati University so every college under there university have same problem

Darrang College is situated in Tezpur Assam which has a back of many historical reason.it is located in the way of Narmada river.In surrounding college there are so many trees,which makes college more beautiful.Darrang college offers various courses.
Darrang College offers various courses in undergraduate and postgraduate in arts, science and commerce.it is accredited by NAAC . There are so many facilities in Darrang College like huge library and laboratory for various subjects oscience courses
There are a botanical garden for botany students and museum for zoology students.The best feelings is my heart belongs to this college.Every faculty members are so nice to everyone which encourages us to study hard and helps is earning knowledge.

Dislikes

There is no much dislike about college but I want to say some disliking things like the college canteen is so much small. There is no scholarship for students whose Parents have government job.The numbers of girls students is very less.
Sometimes I felt left out feeling in colleges . One thing is the distance of college from my home is about 300 km.which is make me very disappointed.I can't go home even after my illness because so many far.The communication kills me sometimes.
I can't usey mother tounge in college because so many students are don't know my language.

Course Curriculum Overview:

When I'm was class 10 from this I had cleared that I had to studythe chemistry subject . So that after completing my 12 th I had took admission in chemistry courses as honours. I had so much influence for Chemistry subject because in daily life in every minute we go through chemistry . It's very interesting to learn science and realistic things in life . chemistry is very interesting subject so I chhose chemy.

My College Experience

Likes

Ambience is great. The environment of college is very good and clean
Being a very old college it has a different aura. A darrangian will able to understand it
Some of the teachers are also good and also personally my department is great

Dislikes

Teaching ways is not that great. It should be improved
Most of the teachers there still follow the traditional way of teaching
Some of the classrooms are very conjusted and not enough spacious.

It is great. The curriculum of our college is very good. There are different fields where one could apply apart from studies. Like - NCC,NSS and even many cultural fields. Students who are culturally active will get a lot of opportunities here

My college is a very excellent institution
It's very reuputated among all the colleges in Assam
Teachers are very nice and friendly and treatment is great.

Dislikes

I disliked that majority of students studied there so it's impossible to pay attention to each and every one.
Environment is nice but there are more choas
Classes are tend to be more cancel and before exams classes are held to complete the syllabus

The curriculum is nice as they take us along with them with tours for tourism and historical perspectives. The curriculum prepares us for the real world as they indulge in proper interaction. The areas to be improved is the classes timing, as the classes are more late to be attended.
