The Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com) course at the Government of Assam is designed to provide a strong foundation in commerce with the support of experienced faculty who are readily available to assist students. The evaluation process for the semester includes an internal exam worth 20 marks and an end-semester exam worth 80 marks.
Under the National Education Policy (NEP), the college facilitates internship opportunities, allowing students to gain practical experience. For instance, a B.Com student successfully secured an internship with a reputed Chartered Accountant. The course is affordable, with first-semester tuition fees approximately 4,950 INR and about 500 INR for the second semester.
Additionally, students can apply for scholarships from the Government of Assam and the Government of India, making the course even more accessible.
