The year wise fees i pay for my course at BA honours at political science is about 10000 but as I have income certificate therefore there is an opportunity for me to pay less instead of paying 10000 yearly i only pay an amount of 1800 with a practical subject Computer Science. Extra thousand rupees is being taken for the practical subject but this year as I'm promoted to 4th semester i have only my major subject which have four paper and I have no practical subject this year so I paid less for my addmission with an amount of 400 rupees only. There are also certain scholarships available at our college among which ishan uday scholarship is the prominent one where each and every student apply for it , the scholarship provide 80000 per year which is a decent There are also certain scholarships available for the OBC people.

Darrang College - The Reality

Dislikes

There must be some kind of practical activity for all fields of students
there is a very limited practical exposure to the arts students

Admission fees was around 8000 for me including all the charges , first semester fees and all other fees. ST/SC students had to pay a little less than me as i fall in the unreserved category. A Rs 80000 scholarship is available for the reserved category student

Darrang college

Our fees structure is affordable and our college provide free admission to students. We have one scholarship for all the students including general,obc sc,st. We have to pay fees twice in a year(per semester) it's below 6000.

As it is a govt College fees is very minimal and there is also provisons for some scholarships for well performed students. I got the benefit of UGC - ishan uday and Tea Tribes Scholarship too. As far no job responsibilites is given to me.

Student have to pay near 5000 in a year . But some students who have BPL card they have some extra advantages. And the scholarships are provided. Scholarships like Ishanuday,OBC scholarship, handicapped scholarships are provided in college.
