Course Curriculum Overview

The curriculum forces you to compete with the real world as it was so relatable and usefull in the real world. Exams were held in the frequency of 2-3 months and the class test were help more frequently

Class Size: 50Course Fees: INR 60000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The year wise fee was ?20000 Development fee was ?2000 There were no differentiation between SC, ST or general Scholarship were available like the MLA fund and the ISHAN UDAAY SCHEME. These were merit cum basis

Campus Life

One annual program is held every year Also the college election. Student run ground is AASU, ABVP etc. The program offer a annual extracurricular activity as well as off campus placement programs. The class is clear and hygiene

Admission

I applied to colleges like presidency college, Bangalore, Christ university, Bangalore. Due to family and person reason i opted for darrang college. Although i never regret making this decision. The admission process is quite smooth.

Faculty

The faculty's are reachable also the faculty and student ratio were 3:40 My best faculty was NABA SHARMA SIR. Exams are easy if you study hard. Out of 40 only 1 or 2 students fail to pass the exam The course were too related to past studies if one is interested in computer science

Night Life

The college's include gym facility with a gym monitor and a trainer. I didn't had hostel life although i can speak about the near around cafe's. The best place to hangout is the kadak chai as well as the four mama place.

Placement Experience:

For campus placement the students should be in final semester or should be graduated.. Automobile companies visit for the placement and it is limited. The package they offer is like 5-6 LPA . 5% of the total students are getting the placements. My plan is to prepare for competitive exams after getting the degree .

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose this course because I wanted to learn coding and pursue my dream as a web development. Our department prepare us well for real-world applications by making us doing project and assignments that are related to real world applications for our further future. We are learning how to do static and dynamic projects. They should change some of their teaching method as for labs (partical) and give more explanation on that as some teachers are not that good in explaining a practical part . Theory exams are easy but practical parts is a little difficult sometimes due to the lack of understanding the subject but some are easy.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I am interested in taking computer Application, the university have also provide with many opportunity to enhance our knowing which also made me to dive deep inside the realm of computer world. The curriculum provided are very helpful for me and i believe I will be able to solve anything in my coming future. The teacher are well educated and friendly we could understand what ever they taught us, they also make us understand what they taught us in any possible way. There is nothing to improve about the faculty but the university can improve the class room by providing new chairs and upgrade a little. The timing for exam and class doesn't effect my routine it is well set according and exam timing different fir each department which is very efficient and not crowded. They provide about two faculty in each exam hall during exam.

I applied to various colleges but I confirmed Darrang College because this college is near to my home as compared to others . I didn't got rejection from other colleges. I didn't make it there because the course I wanted to study was not there . The admission process is merit based . This course don't require any exams but 10+2 academic qualification and the cutoffs for the availability of seats is more than 70%....Read More

Improvement in Sports activities needed

I applied for EFLU (Shillong Campus), Central University of Karnataka, Tezpur University, Gauhati University and Dibrugarh University and some of their affiliated colleges like Darrang College, DHSK College and many more. I did get pass through the merit lists of Karnataka, Darrang and DHSK. I had to choose Darrang because the last date for admission in DHSK, I was unable to go there due to personal reasons & I forgot about the Karnataka application form. I chose this college among others cause this college is in middle assam which is more safe than other parts and also have a great environment in the campus and also the college is good , and the people in it .
