Likes

The faculty is so good and friendly and the teaching method is good and the professor use technical tools.
There are opportunities for scholarships to like the government funded scholarship.
I made quite a good amount of friends and enjoyed various annual festivals that were organised in the college.

Dislikes

The canteen facilities were not so good , and some teachers were rude
campus was sometime very dirty which is not good for students health
I didn't like the behaviour of some staff sometimes they are very rude sometimes

The place that holds emotion

Likes

A very beautiful and well maintained campus
Very experienced and friendly faculty members
All the laboratories are modern and well equipped

Dislikes

The student washrooms are not well maintained
Classroom of some departments are outdated

I choose botany honours to study about plants and I am very much satisfied with darrang college. •The faculty members are well experienced •Teachers are able to solve all the doubts. •Laboratories are well equipped. •All the required specimens are available in the department Also the department has a large botanical garden which contains various local and foreign trees, orchids and many more varieties of plants

Tezpur University Pros and cons in a nutsell

Likes

Library is all well equipped with sci - fic books and and novels
The canteen always provide good and refreshing foods
The lab is well equipped with all the scientific instruments

Dislikes

The hostel bathroom is dirty af we have bathe with holes in our door
The classroom most of the time remains dirty
The garden is filled up with plastice and human faceces

They are very practical in aspects of those who really need to learn those cirrculam and it prepares us for the real world and real time problems and well it needs some area of improvement also and the frequency of timing of exams are mainly of 3 hrs

Darrang College

Likes

Very friendly and supportive teachers and faculty members
Campus is also very big for outdoor activities
Infrastructure quality is good but needs a little improvement

Dislikes

Course syllabus is very ill arranged and lengthy
Hostels and nearby PGs nearby the college are very pricy and not very affordable
Parking for students, teachers and staffs are very small

I like mathematics so I decided to pursue this course. The curriculum has real world problems in detail which prepares us. The exam frequency is too short and a longer break between exams might be helpful

Darrang is love

Likes

Teacher were very friendly and they teach us in a very interesting way
College faculty was also very good they help us in many ways as they form manu groups.
The infrastructure was very well defined structured

Dislikes

some faculty didn’t do their work and it didn’t helped us
In sports section the college didn’t give opportunities to everyone
campus was sometime very dirty which is not good for students health

Darrang college provides many co curriculum activities like football, basketball, cricket, chess, badminton and many more indoor and outdoor games like kho kho and handball, high jump and many mire which is very good

Likes

I like my canteen it is hygiene and the chef are very experienced
Our college hostel is very hygienic in every way
Our college ground is big and it have many courts for different sports

Dislikes

Our classes lacks the inverted connection
Our department doesn't contain nice drinking water
The surrounding of college is contains wastages

The exam conduct by our college authority is not tough. And the examination timing of the sessional exam is about 1 hour, and the final examination exam timing is 3 hours. And difficulty level of the final exam is hard

Likes

I like the engagement of sports and cultural program that the college take initiative.
College week is best in the Darrang college
As a darrangian I love the election days as the campaigning we had done

Dislikes

Behaviour of the staff of the counter was very rude
The canteen facilities were not so good , and some teachers were rude
In college their should be printing device so that we need not go outside

Overview of my College

Likes

I liked the central Library that was in collage and it can be used by every one and you can also borrow the books for 15 days
There is also a large ground with many more different sports facility
I also like the canteen which is very hygiene and they also hire the best chef

Dislikes

Some staff faculty in the counter are very rude
I don't like politics in academic level, there are lot of student union which are involved in politics

There are course that are already selected and apart form that you can also select self-finance course wich will cost some extra according to the cot you have selected there are also many schems that offen come in college with some subscription.

My college is the best college

Likes

I like the behaviour, teaching skills and cooperation of my teachers they are very helpful
There is a lot of extra curricular activities like every year we celebrate college week
The canteen is too good it's from krc and well behaviour

Dislikes

The toilets of the common room are very much dirty and unhygienic
I don't like Politics at academic level there is a lot of student union group

I have always been interested in commerce that's why I've chosen this course the teaching method is good overall the newly came faculty should improve their teaching skills, the timing for the internal examination was 1 hour and the paper was 20 marks and the timing for the final examination is 3 hours marks 80.

My experience of Darrang College

Likes

The surroundings are lovely..the whole college is covered with greenery.
Food available in the canteen was hygienic and affordable
Library and classrooms were nice and the faculties were okyish

Dislikes

Not all the faculties but some of them were too strict
Toilets were not so good..Don't know the current scenario as I completed my graduation last year

I heard from someone that geography department of darrang College is good and so I decided took admission there..And from my experience it was good.. There needs to be improvement in exams result duration..it takes almost 7-8months..
